YU-GI-OH REGIONAL CHAMPIONS
I know there was an online virtual duel program, YVO or something like that. Some friends and I tried to get it to work, and couldn't because of some dumb port forwarding thing, but maybe someone here might try it? It lets you create a deck and then connect to duel others online, so that could be good practice for you guys. Or nostalgia, since I don't know if it has the newer cards.

Ness- The menu itself is alright, but jesus, that background is amazing. Does it change depending on where you are in the game, or is that what it always is?
CMS/CBS Problem
Numbers aside, the alternative is a health bar, which is a different evil. You'll have to make pictures for each increment of the health, and then a huge nest of conditionals to display each one. It's only slightly more tedious than what these people are talking about, but it's a lot more straightforward.
Anyone here into crafts?
I would love to do wood-carving or metal-smithing, but I lack the materials... For now, I just stick to beading bracelets and necklaces from time to time. =/

In general, though, A broad vision of how I want my RPG to play out is in my head. Specific characters, events, locations, and timelines I think of are all documented and revised as progress continues. In this way, detail just comes with time.
That, usually.
This time I'm trying to actually be thorough and write something decent. It's a lot more difficult. For the first time I have a file on my computer actually outlining what needs to be done (including future designs, ideas and how complete it is). Also, if I think of something while I'm out or at school, I just save it on my phone and then update it later.

Yeah, 98 was awesome. Unless you count ME, then you're just masochist, and XP was also pretty damn good, as evidenced by all the people who still use it. Even Vista probably won't have that life span (to address an earlier point), due to natural OS selection.

11 PM Weeknights, 12 AM Weekends. Of course the internet will be off by then, so I wouldn't be posting until the next day. But I do most of my work when I'm "asleep".

-harmonic: Well, yes and no. My hair used to be curly a la Robert Plant, and then I got it permanently straightened, so a lot of black girls ask me how I did that, since most of them just flat iron theirs everyday (which is what I used to do). Beyond that, not really.
