Save files not being made.

I've been having this problem for God knows how long, but for some reason I've never asked about it. Now that I've made a Review thread, I NEED to fix this.

Why is it that when I save my game and close it out, a save file isn't made?

Thanks.

Nocturna will review your games.

Hello, guys. This is another one of those "I will review your game" threads. Give me your games and I will review them; HOWEVER, I do have some rules and exceptions you might want to look at before putting up your game.

I will NOT review your game if:

- It has four or more reviews.

WHY?

The whole point of me deciding to make this thread is so that people that really need feedback on their games can get some here. I'm not looking to play a game that has 5 or 8 reviews. To me, that is enough feedback, and I hope that you are happy with them.

But let's cut to the chase. My review format is as follows:

The Good is obviously the good aspects of the game.

The Bad is obviously the bad bits of a game.

Now what makes my reviews different from others?

The Ugly. I hope you saw this coming. What is "The Ugly"? No matter - NO MATTER what game I have played, there is something in it that irks me/ pisses me off/ irritates me. I will explain everything that has done this to me in my reviews.

There is also one last section that is composed out of smaller, more random points towards a game, much like Gibmaker does, such as:

- Aspect I liked most.
- Best line in the game.
- Most idiotic level design I've ever seen.
- Etc.

I'm also not much of a game-finisher, so hope that your game will be compelling enough to have me play to the end.

Bring on the games.

Current list:

Pokemon Hunter 2 by: Halibabica

Avantasia by: Bahamut

Speak No Evil by: ChaosProductions

I can't log in through Firefox.

Simple as that, and I hate it.

I have no idea what the problem is. I put in the right password and nothing really happens. I'm taken back to the homepage while the Username and Password boxes are empty once again.

Custom splash screens for RM2003?

Is it possible? If so, how? ???

Wav music won't work in-game.

What could be the causes of this? I've made sure that every single piece of WAV music in my library didn't work. It just plain doesn't play at all (but I can play it outside of the game. Weird.)

Any way to fade-in a BGM in RMXP?

I am planning on buying XP, but one thing is holding me back: the lack of the ability to fade in a BGM like you can do in rm2003 and 2000. Could somebody tell me how I could do this? Thanks.

Unable to Test Play because of fatal error in project compilation?

What is with this strange error? It only happens in the RM2003 engine and with RM2003 games. If anybody else has had this error before, please tell me how you were able to fix it. Thanks.

[ADVERT] Death Proclaimed 2 - Valerie's Letter

Death Proclaimed 2 - Valerie's Letter

Story:

DP2 - Valerie's Letter is a subscenario focusing on Valerie and her endeavors before the arrival of Cory. While being stalked by a mysterious power, Valerie wakes up in her room to another day of hopelessness. Everyone was gone - her family, friends, and even every person that lived in the Bhamen Village. Valerie was alone, and she had no idea what to do, but maybe she was not TOTALLY alone. A strange presence lingers in the depths of her heart, forcing her eyes to see things that they should not really see. Valerie tries hard to endure this strange force within her each day, and one day she receives a strange letter from under her bedroom door. It was signed by her close friend, Leah, who lived nearby the Bhamen Village. In this letter, Leah summons Valerie to her for reasons unknown. Valerie, carrying new hope that her life was not completely demolished, goes on a desperate search for answers.

The main purpose of the making of this subscenario is to have a closer insight on Valerie and her struggles. While DP3 is still in production, hopefully this addition to the Death Proclaimed series will continue to unravel the mysteries behind the story and will keep players satisfied until Death Proclaimed 3 will finally be completed.

Features:
- Returning monsters from the original Death Proclaimed 2 with enhanced AI.
- More creepy desolate areas for you to explore.
- A new look on the character of Valerie.
- A firearm weapon in which you can not only shoot, but can hit enemies with as well.
- A choice between action and riddle difficulty.

More info is to come as game-making progresses. I hope you all enjoy the Death Proclaimed series so far!

get the story and such:
http://www.gamingw.net/forums/index.php?topic=57542.0

Storyline:

After the decisive and epic battle of Wild Wings I, Shade and his party finally
reaches Hibernaculum, the winter roost for bats to hibernate in. However, Shade's
journey is not over. Inside, he knows his father is still alive, and goes on a
quest to search for him in every area possible, no matter how fatigued he may
become.
During the longing seach, Shade encounters obstacles he hoped he'd never. Goth
is not dead, and he is still making dirty plans to get his hands on the precious
Tetsu Ring of the Silverwing colony, a magestic piece of jewelry carved by the
goddess, Nocturna.
Now in the midst of peril as well as hopeless search, Shade must gather together
all his courage and strength if he wishes to complete his mission and to stop
Goth from retrieving the ring once again. Goth is back, however, with even more
power within him. Will Shade be able to defeat him again with Nocturna's strength,
sealed inside of the ring? Does the ring possess even more power than Shade thinks?

During Wild Wings II, you will get to see familiar faces, familiar places, and a
whole new look on the adventures of Shade Silverwing.
Be amazed as you witness the true strength of both sides.

[FULL GAME] Death Proclaimed 2

DeAtH pRoClAiMeD 2

~STORYLINE~
A young boy lived in a house in a secluded forest with his supposed aunt, Allison,
for ten years. His past from ten years ago is completely unknown to him, but he has lived
with his aunt peacefully for that ten years. One foggy night, Allison tells him
that she is going to shop for groceries in the nearby city.
However, she does not return for an entire week. Having enough of the loneliness
and confusion, the boy sets off to this city.
Hearing odd noises, the boy finds out that getting to the city would not be as easy as he
thought. His simple trek to the social city would plunge him into a horrific, unspeakable
evil that seems to carry only one true purpose - to remind him of his dark, forgotten past.

This game is a far-cry from Death Proclaimed in terms of combat. It will be far easier to play than the first game, and it also includes a whole new menu system made completely from custom graphics. The atmosphere of the game will be slightly different than that of the first game - it will have a more depressing, dark, and lonely kind of atmosphere that will create a tense anticipation for any horror that awaits your arrival.

The new link is a fix of all the bugs my beta tester, Gibmaker, has encountered while playing the game. I apologize to those who fell victim to these bugs.
