I definitely get that. Honestly, I originally thought I'd managed two goals before, and this was my third, but I looked back and realized I'd only done one. So I changed it. ^^;
Speaking of my 'third' goal which is really my second, it's finally done! I literally wrote five and a half paragraphs of backstory today, edited a few things in the picture, and posted it to D.A. I happily present my proof: Milod
Now with that done, I was going to set my next goal to finish the base for a "choose your own adventure" for multiple people. However, the people I was planning on making it for haven't exactly responded to my offer to make it like I expected them to. (they're typically very speedy with responses.) So instead, I suppose I'll get working on the script for another Arcadia at Night.

Also, since I'm pretty sure I've not said this yet, thanks for doing this! It's helped me and I'm sure many others get in gear and work on things they wouldn't otherwise. And to add to the helpfulness, you're always encouraging peeps to stay positive, even when they haven't gotten their goals done. Not that I know anything about that, ahahaha...

Urgh... I'm terribly sorry, but can I change my goal? I was trying to ask last night, but... The internet kinda went kaput.
If it is possible, I finally came up with a decent backstory for a character, and would like to see if I can get that done this week. If not, however, I'll just work on the script for the game.

I will most certainly have it done by then. I just have to do some writing, and then I can happily post it up.

I lied. I am a liar.
Instead of working on Milod's backstory (the writing part) like I was trying to do, I worked on maths, daily life, and art. Well... That's not true, I did write a backstory that was... poor... and cliche... Like, really cliche... So I started all over and got no where because everything I thought of was some sort of trope. (Abandoned as an infant for no good reason, born into a special line of people making her an outcast of society, raised by predatory animals instead of being eaten by them, etc.) Feel a tad silly this has taken me two weeks, but... if you can't figure something out, you can't figure something out.
I'm going to see if a week or two off from working on this will help, and switch to a new goal... whatever it may be... Gimme a day or two and I'll get back to you on that.

Update:
So... I would have had my goal done, but... I kinda... found a really old project and got sidetracked... I should have at least the artwork done by the end of today, though. Kinda need it done quickly, anyways. The deadline for the contest is the 5th, so... Typical me, completing things last second. ^^;
