A Story Without Words

I don't mind words. When I'm concentrating and feeling patient, I like having conversations and finding out as much information as possible. Visual effects should augment words, not replace them. You couldn't have long, animated cutscenes back in the days of D&D.

Interactivity is pretty important, though. 15 minute dialogue sucks if you don't get to participate at all.

Deus Ex HumΔn Revolution

Two words: Hell yeah.

I really wanted to get into the original Deus Ex because it seemed so promising, but I found the controls weird and the graphics a bit distracting, so I eventually gave in. I was looking forward to this.

Babby Maker Network

"In this debate, and look forward to a bad translation!"

I was talking about this site with a friend over MSN a little while ago.

"I am in possession of a firearm." somehow became "Love", although now that I'm inputting that same sentence again, it just says "Unarmed".

Haha, probably, I used way too many colours. I've never heard of Faceless, though. ]:

Gale
Gary Coleman?
...Because he's black? I must have done a really bad job if you see any resemblance, my friend looks nothing like Gary Coleman. :c

The MC dies! Game Over.

It only really makes sense for games like Fire Emblem, where characters will die permanently.

MCM Expo

My friend went, dressed as Zola, but I didn't go.

I might be going in the Autumn. I'm not sure. [:

Squid_Fight.jpg

Looks like a really boring map.

Not for a project or anything, I just felt like doing it. It's funny how your method of choosing a pallette can have such a huge effect on the end result. One looks a lot more realistic than the other, even though I basically used the same technique for both, besides how I picked the colours.

Do you prefer "strong" or "sissy" protagonists?

Wimpy-looking protagonists are easier to relate to, for most gamers I've encountered. It adds to the "fantasy" aspect of the game.
