I'm a very big fan of music of japanese role playing games for it has influenced me throughout my life since my early childhood. The day I saw Nobuo on the stage in front of me I decided I too will become a composer one day. It has been 9 years since that day.
You can't find my works anywhere right now, but that will change very soon this year as I will be contributing several original tracks for RMN Music Pack 2.

If I own a license to the program, can I edit the RTP and use it in my commercial game?

Also, I'm pretty sure that some time in the future there will be a 2k RTP pack for legal use. They've been talking about such a thing for a while now so it's bound to happen - it's just a matter of when.
Actually yesterday in irc Esrever said you can buy the japanese Rpg Maker 2000, which allows you to use the RTP commercially. You can pay with paypal and it costs only 3024 yen which is roughly $25 USD / 22,5 €

You guys should check out the Hero's Realm Journey program. It has class choices and optional side quests, like having to choose whether to keep a dragon egg you have found, or not. And both choices have consequences...

Born Under the Rain Review
I actually really liked the battle music and felt it had a really strong, expressive and memorable theme to it, that tied together the game mood very well.
I only wished the main theme of the battle theme would have lasted longer at the 0:47 part as it felt the most resolving part which rest of the song builds up towards to.

Could there be different pools of roles that people could sign up for and then a team would be randomly generated from these pools?
Example:
Member 1 signs up for: Main producer, Concept design, = ends up in pools A and B
Member 2 signs up for: Concept design, Game mechanics design = ends up in pools B nd C
Member 3 signs up for: Mapping, illustrations = ends up in pools D and E
Member 4 signs up for: audio design = ends up in pool F
Team is randomly formed from pools: A, B, C, D, E and F, or what is available.
There could be a couple of obligatory pools for each team, like main producer, concept design and game mechanics design pools, and then a bonus pool like illustrations or audio design pool.
Each team could only have 1 illustrator and audio designer, so if a member has signed for multiple roles, like audio design and main producer, for example, it would rule out another audio designer or main producer ending up in his or her team.
In other words, team would need to have:
A = 1
B = / > 1
C = / > 1
D = 1
E = / < 1
F = / < 1

Why wouldn't I be enthusiastic about it? I don't consider it random as it has really affected my life. How is it any more random than making a topic about a game you like?
