author=VideoWizardAhaha, using your own game as comparison. I think you can relate more than anyone to being slammed by reviewers. Despite all this, you have been faithful to your series for over a decade. I admire it.
We're (past) peak-Final Fantasy, and now one of the highest (if not the highest) profile games on RMN got the same score as this? A game that's probably right down there with the notoriously bad games that have already been mentioned. (I even admit it!) That's... shocking to say the least.

Forever's End Review
This game holds the title for most reviewed, highest rated, most subscribers on the site. It is also among the most discussed. All this made me have to see what all the fuss was about. What does this game have going for it that none other on the site does? The answer, can't think of anything.
I am know there are lots of really noobish games to find in the RM community, and this is not one of them. I couldn't see what the wowing was about though. For me it was probably like a 2.5 star trending toward two. The rounding down being determined by all long meandering dialogue that in the end didn't say all that much. I could not finish the game but I got enough hours in to take in it's flavor. This rating seems harsh, but for me what was said in the review holds true.

Forever Across Dreams Introduction/Reflection
You warm my battle hardened soul. Those games aren't here because I dont think they stand the test of time well. Maybe they work for nolstalgia or looking back on RM history. I truly don't recommend playing FAD again. Even if you get past the rubbish graphics, the leveling system is near impossible. You absolutely MUST go to the battle trainer and get to level 4 or better. Plus one map has a game stopping bug if you enter it from the wrong direction. Most people don't find that little path though. AOE, well enjoy. I still think its cool.
Anyway, I know how reviewers look at things nowdays. It was a game from a growing community learning their styles and techniques. Kinda what I said about the standards thing earlier. Without being there some have no context on why so many games back then had less polish.

Verlena Frequency
Well it's one of the two projects that matter most to me. I got frustrated trying to get enough resources to meet my standards for the game. I also need to wait for my faceset artist to make more of the characters. So its a bit weird using faces for some characters but other characters don't get it. I haven't given up but it's waiting for a time when more resources are available. I really require a lot of charset work most of all. It's too much to ask of Darken who is already designing the main cast.
Meanwhile, I switched gears to Forever Across Dreams. Despite the fact it's a high calibur production, it looks like it is being written off by potential subscribers. Its so under the radar that people should be surprised they never took note when I get that game out. Anyone who thinks this game sounds cool, can reasonably have similar or maybe better expectations for FAD.
