Random Musings or Rants
I suppose I could have been more specific earlier about why I had to rant. I spent a lot of time in Cleveland and the nearby city of Lakewood a few months ago. For a while we were getting by without a car, so I had not gotten out a lot for a long time, at least not too far. So, I spoke out how I felt about being in that setting. Recently we moved to some apartments pretty far out in the countryside and I really love it. A couple weeks ago, some bulldozers and treecutters came and started to clear the wooded areas I lived within to make room for more apartments. There went that fantastic view I could see from my window.
It got me to think how fast everything is getting cleared out nowdays. Speaking for life in the USA at least, we are always constructing loads of things. It's easy to watch as nature diminishes.
Him is right when he pointed out how my need to live with more nature about me isn't consistent with conservationalism. Still I admit, I like living in this environment a lot better. TsimehC's suggestion to get involved in some conservation projects really might just be a good way of giving back.

Random Musings or Rants
Our natural world is being replaced with too much concrete. I'm not comfortable living in a place where I don't see enough grass, trees, plants, etc. I seem to be the only one I know who thinks this is a really big issue. Maybe it is needed for our society to get by nowdays, but this is such a sad thing.

RPGS... you've beaten
Games Beaten:
Final Fantasy 1: Origins version, astoundingly boring, due to when I played.
Final Fantasy 2: Nice looking Remake, that's about it.
Final fantasy 3: The earliest FF game I thought was fun.
Final fantasy 4: My first (console) RPG ever, nostalgiacally delicious.
Final Fantasy 5: Good for 1 playthrough.
Final Fantasy 6: Really Damn good, I would play again.
Final Fantasy 7: again.. nostalgiacally delicious.
Final Fantasy 8: Took this one up again recently, it fell flat this time.
Final Fantasy 9: Two words.. The best!!!!
Final Fantasy 10: Good, loggeed half my playtime in the monster arena.
Final Fantasy 11: Level 75 paladin in an endgame linkshell. Good times.
Final Fantasy 12: Loved the game, despite a quite generic story. Great graphics
and fresh gameplay to credit for that.
Final Fantasy Tactics: This one is great!
Final Fantasy Tactics Advance: Had none of the magic of the original.
Final Fantasy Legend: ...
Final Fantasy Mystic Quest: What happened to Final Fantasy? Boo!
Star Ocean 2: I only remember liking the art.
Saga Frontier: Too strange for me.
Xenogears: Truly great.
Chrono Trigger: Brilliant. RPG storytelling goes a new direction.
Secret of Mana: Brilliant. The first ABS done well. Fun.
Chrono Cross: Fascinating atmosphere, great story. Too bad so many underdeveloped chars.
Legend of Mana: Generally fun.
Super Mario RPG: Liked this a ton.
Breath of Fire 2: Good when I played it. (To me, no other professional game feels more like a typical rm2k/3 game)
Breath of Fire 3: Didn't like it. Won't play another BOF.
Phantasy Star 2: The best Sega RPG. Unique feel to it.
Wild Arms: Another good unique game, did not like the sequels.
Kindom Hearts: I liked it. No inclination to ever play it again though.
Dragon Warrior 7: Particularly good for its atmosphere and gameplay. Better than expected.
Ogre battle: Classic
Actraiser: Classic
Suikoden 1: Good times.
Suikoden 2: This game is awesome!
Suikoden 3: Good as well.
Parasite Eve: Why couln't PE2 be more like this great game?
Castlevania SOTN: Aside from cheesy voice acting, what's not to love? Easily best in series.
Lunar Silver Star story: Sorry fans of this; it wasn't worth playing.
Lufia: Worth playing if you are big into puzzles. Did not offer much else.
Quest for Glory Series 1-3: So glad this was mentioned by a few of you. You have no idea how
much I enjoyed these when they came out! Best console rpg experience before the MMORPG.
Did Not Finish List:
Tales of Phantasia: The horrid music was a big turnoff
Brave Fencer Mushashi: The only thing I liked was the lighting effects.
Vagrant Story: Wasn't into it at the time. I could possibly enjoy this game now.
Shadow Hearts: It was giving me bad vibrations.
Saga Frontier 2: Literally nauseating.
Disgaea: FF tactics did this better, so why bother.
Alundra: Abysmal.
Final Fantasy X-2: The story and characters were way way way too terrible and corny. I did not like most of the music it had so far. Quit after going to Leblanc's Headquarters. Appealing menus and a good dress sphere system could not save this game.
Current Games I am Playing:
Xenosaga2: Just started.
Suikoden5: I wish I could say I liked it more, like previous incarnations of Suikoden.
Some of my opinions are dated, but I just wrote the lasting impressions the games had on me from the time I played them.
