Hmmm game length huh, not exactly my best subject because its number based.

Well, I usually have like some 300x250ish world map with dungeons to no end. (Usually 30 or so, some have to be backtracked.) With near 200 monsters to sluaghter and earn hidden items from... sidequests left and right... annoying glitches to complain about... crazy skills to use over and over wasting a couple seconds of many hours of your time. I'd say that would take a good 15-20 hours to complete if not more.

I haven't really played much of Saga Frontier 2, I only played a little of Gustave's story then I stopped.

I did however enjoy the 1st one very much, but they really could've done a lot more with some of the characters and villains of the game. (Plus hopin' Asellus would join Red in his story.) All of the final bosses were equally difficult... except for Red's.

I would always use Lute in every storyline too, since it feels like the game is sort of centered around him in a way, since he is available in every story. Plus you can raise him to be however you want him to be, making him in my opinion the best character in the game.

Now then, Romancing Saga 3, I played this one til' the end... but the final boss made quick work out of me since I was lacking the proper healing spells and items. But the game all around was pretty damn fun, it made me relive the Saga Frontier feel again, but holy crap this game is hard. I think it was because I was using the wrong characters in the game, some were developed pretty good while others not so much. Undine was my favorite though, pwned those enemeis with that Thunder Ball!

All in all, the Saga games seem to be ignored a lot nowadays. But I bet they ignore it because of the insane difficulty the games prove to be, but that's what makes it so much fun! PLAY THEM, I DEMAND YOU DO!!!!

I can wait for the new look! I bet it'll look positively epic beyond proportions! So epic that in the future, people will come to admire its beauty and gaze upon RMN3 with grace and awe!

I have a few favorites as well.

Zagi: Tales of Vesperia. (When he shows up, you go... fuck not this guy again, but enjoy the fight anyway because his battle theme is so kickass.

Grigori: Star Ocean 4. (I don't know why, but I just love the boss theme that plays when you fight those things, it just fits them so well. Plus they are unique where they are weak on a certain part of the body.)

Orgodemir: Dragon Quest 7. (I enjoyed the battle and the story involving him, throughout the entire game you're told how powerful he is and the build up towards him keeps getting closer and closer, it just gets to epic battle at the end when you finally face him. A similar scenario with Baramos in DQ3.)

Chaos: FF1. Just a simple fight of good vs evil, no second forms no anything... just heroes vs Chaos. I liked the music they put in the remakes when you fight him. Plus some of the attacks he uses on you look remarkably painful.

Zophar: Lunar 2 PS1. Now this was a fight that took me a half hour/full hour to do because of how tense this battle was, one mess up and you would suffer for it! The music was a nice addition to the final battle against the God of Darkness!
