Faster ATB plugin would help this game immensely I think. Along with no row and no autobattle patches.
But still P5 is one of the better Phantasias at the end of the day. The series has been a long line of gradual improvements over each entry and I think it's come a long way since then.
If I could find patches like that, I'd put those things in a heartbeat. >>;
EDIT: Installed a patch to get rid of the Auto Battle function, that's one thing down, now for that ATB speed up...

Some contrast with the top of the tree canopy edges and the floor would help out a bit.
Regardless, this looks classy. Nice work. Way to make me feel nostalgic for the classic 2k3 games, bro.
The forest was from ToP PSX, and it was a pain to get this into rm2k3 tileset form, there's a lot of big pictures in those tiles, and it made making these tiles really difficult to use. XD
