KEL'S PROFILE

Next up is mapping...this might take a while. Why does mapping bore me so, random profile viewer?

Congrats on the featured game SnowOwl; it's richly deserved!

It's no problem, you've got a pretty good Revive the Dead game going on there.

Going to be swamped with stuff the rest of the night though, so I won't start playing Seraphic Blue until tomorrow. Can I finish this mammoth game in a few days while juggling work (starting tomorrow) and making my own game?

Time shall tell.

my skype is cashycat. everyone add me or i will cry.

Punch Drunk Love is actually a really good movie, though you might feel some second-hand embarrassment in the beginning.

Sooo... GamerGate

Even better then, but if their relationship was ongoing at the time of that article, it still wouldn't really equal backlash since it was a big list of indie games at the time, and hers had gotten coverage beforehand, so it makes sense for it to be mentioned. (no matter how bad it is)

Good by to rmn.net

Since redwall added an avatar, perhaps this means he'll take the time to improve instead of leaving the site cold turkey.

I just got here and it's already like a drug; I don't want to see you go into withdraw redwall, so keep at it. We don't all start out great, my grammar may have been good, but damn did my games suck at first.

Sooo... GamerGate

The journalist in question actually did speak favorably about Quinn's game, but it was a small amount of praise that was part of an article that showcased many different indie games at the time.

Sounds interesting; added to the list.

I'm actually going to put Lionheart next in line since it'll probably take me less than an hour, while Seraphic Blue is billed as a 50 hour game.

Once I review (most likely non-starred unless you want otherwise) Max's game, I'll probably begin playing Seraphic Blue on the same day, depending on what may attack me during Halloween. (Family/Friends/Axe Murderer Enthusiasts)

Looks like there's quite the skill selection.

I am having this weird feeling of deja vu with this description. I am almost certain I've seen a film with a similar initial premise, a writer goes off to a lonely cabin/secluded place to finish his novel and it is finished without his knowledge or memory.

This is going to drive me batty until I can remember it. More than likely it'll end up being something I've read rather than seen and I've supplied my own visuals, which does happen a lot.

Still, I like Liberty am interested in where this goes.

Do you mean the Secret Window, nhubi?

Also, like many others I agree this game looks interesting; the Christmas tree in one of the screenshots got me all excited for Christmas...soon.

Sooo... GamerGate

Anyway, this is getting off the subject of GG and into other territory. So, back to the subject at hand:
GamerGate should burn in a fire because nothing is going to come from a movement that was started for the sole purpose of attacking a person instead of an ideal.

I think this is pretty much all that needs to be said on the subject of GG honestly. That's the roots of so called "defending journalism", and with a name that makes no sense (Watergate Scandal happened at Watergate) those that actually want a less biased media shouldn't have jumped onto a burning ship.

Also, anyone who listens to a woman's problems and makes it about how they aren't like the men she's describing, or that they haven't seen it, really need to take a moment and reflect why that's not the best way to go about listening to someone who took the time to confide in you. Of course not all men do it, but this isn't supposed to be about you; you're not the one in that particular conversation who laid out their problems in hopes someone gives a damn.
