I love writing and developing games with the Ren'Py visual novel engine. I've been learning about the engine, seeing a little improvement with each of my games. I joined RMN due to my interest in online audiences and freeware games (such as Misao, Mad Father, Cave Story, Mokego Castle, Desert Nightmare and Mermaid Swamp).

Gave this a play. Really creepy.

What I got from it is that the MC (who is a cyber criminal) decides to excecute the other three because their crimes are all very bad. The cyber criminal is probably bitter that she was grouped together as "dangerous" with the murderers. Maybe they are sewn together as a metaphor of how the MC feels they are all the same evil person but seperate from her. And she kills herself to escape from it all

Love the game so far :D But i am stuck in the first nightmare i just can't seem to find the way... I am sorry to ask but could someone help me pls i have walked all the ways that are possible.
I'm having problems with the Nightmare too. I've reached a point where I've gone all the way to the right until I can see the exit door in the corner. But there is a demon blocking my only way forward, which is down. I wonder if it is a game glitch because some demons mean game over and others you can literally stand under.

Hey sorry, I'm noticing something about the full version. The text is way too small to read! Maybe it's meant for full screen mode? I recommend you change it to something that is larger and easier to read :)

Such a nice story of a sweet family going to Church and loving each other and then . . . BAM! That devil gets you and you nearly flip your computer desk over and the cat in your room goes running. I can't say that the plot is really fantastic or original, but you definitely got the jump scare 100% I hope to see more with the full version!

Cave Story ... heck yeah! It's just a great plot in general. I'll always remember that part where you "defeat" the Core in the Geothermal area and you actually DROWN. My god. That damn tow-rope. Auh. But seriously, sorry I've been a bit MIA lately. I noticed you reviewed my poem. Thanks! You story here sounds pretty awesome, I must say. I like relationships that are a bit complicated, or where the characters are friends rather than strangers who "fall in love at first sight" ... If you want some romance try out like, the best romantic game ever ... Hatoful Boyfriend. haha. No actually the best romance I've read of all time was in Never Let Me Go by Kazou Ishiguro

Sounds like a detailed and fascinating game, I'll be looking forward to the download. Thank you for bringing this "classic" game to the site, I really like your idea of reviving old games and sharing them with the community
