I enjoy playing and creating games (mostly RPGs) and have a love of story and characterisation above graphics. I've been into RM* since '96 and have used all makers - started on the PSX makers, found and used a patched version of the SNES RM, then moved to RM95. When I found RM2K I finally decided to join some forums and I've been a part of the community ever since.

News Flash with Kermit the Frog [7 Reasons the 21st Century is Making You Miserable]
I feel pity for that woman, not hate. It's pathetic (in the proper sense of the word) that she and her kin feel the need to make others lives (and deaths) a misery because they believe (or want others to think they believe) that God (or anyone) would want to wish that kind of death apon even the most heinous and hated of people.
'Fraid it smells like a publicity stunt to me and that she'd feel the need to say such things to get noticed is actually pretty sad.

Five Random Thoughts About Video Games.
^In the first you could. Don't want to Can't remember the third.
- I'm getting sick of waiting to hear whether or not there will be a Suikoden 6. It's been about three years since V came out and I realise that Konami have a lot of games on their hands, but to not even confirm or deny whether it'll be coming out, let alone what on (so I know what to buy)* at all is pretty ridiculous.
- I'm not sure whether I'll buy the FF7 remake or not. As much as I liked it, the spin-offs are getting pretty silly. There's even a mobile game.
- Good news: I'm looking forward to the new Harvest Moon, despite that it'll be the nth one I've played that does basically the same things over and over.
*Yes, I base my decision on a next gen console over one game. >.< I could have had a PS3 Christmas past if I wanted.

Play Something! Day Results and Discussion Topic [August 1st, 2008]
I replayed Kinetic Cipher and managed to get past the area I was stuck on the last time I played it (which is a while ago now). I remember really liking it back then and not much has changed now. Still digging the RTP usage, which I give thumbs up to, and the characterisation is pretty good, which bodes well for any RPG really.
Also did a short play of Legendary Legend, which I rather liked. It's a comedy game which is a little reminiscent of the greats. Thankfully, it doesn't rely too heavily on 'funny' to carry it as a game, so it's actually pretty decent, though the battles were a bit button-mashing-y for my liking. Still, the characters are pretty good and rather original and fit the story line well.
I recommend it.
(Oh, and I'll write up reviews a bit later on. I've got a pretty bad cold at the moment, so I'm not exactly thinking straight. This doubles for an excuse if what I wrote doesn't make much sense. X.X)

Top Ten Topic: Favorite Snack Foods
An alternative to vegimite. It falls into the category or wanna-be vegimites like marmite. Tastes better than both, IMO.

Snakatas
'Healthy' snacks apparently. Any flavour will do.
Honey Roasted Cashews
I love these, but they're a definite 'sometimes' snack.

Actually a pretty good snack and healthy to boot.

They aren't supposed to be 'snacks' but they taste so good. Probably a reason I don't buy them much.
