LIBERTY'S PROFILE
I enjoy playing and creating games (mostly RPGs) and have a love of story and characterisation above graphics. I've been into RM* since '96 and have used all makers - started on the PSX makers, found and used a patched version of the SNES RM, then moved to RM95. When I found RM2K I finally decided to join some forums and I've been a part of the community ever since.

Swap in 3 Middle with Who?
I put a vote up on discord asking if a list of names and partners should be shown or private PMs and the majority vote was a list, so... here goes!
(Also, if you're doing an event, it's a good idea to join our discord to talk to each other and show off what you're working on/get feedback and inspiration/etc, even if you're not wanting to use any other areas of it)
Second Half > First Half
For example, Liberty gets El_Waka's first half.
Liberty gets El_Waka
psy_wombats gets Seiromem
Corfaisus gets Soulrain
orochii gets psy_wombats
Marrend gets coelocanth
Seiromem gets CrazyBabi
coelocanth gets Marrend
Red_Nova gets Delsin7
pianotm gets Red_Nova
El_Waka gets OzzyTheOne
lavendersiren gets pianotm
OzzyTheOne gets orochii
Soulrain gets Corfaisus
JustAShyDoge gets Liberty
Delsin7 gets lavendersiren
CrazyBabi gets JustAShyDoge
If you have any issues of any kind, let me know, but I made sure everyone who gets someone's first half has the engine they need to edit it, so that shouldn't be a problem. I won't say that I tried to give preferences since it was pretty much randomised bar fitting the engine needs, but I'm pretty sure some of you ended up with preferred engines just by luck.
Have fun, you have until the end of the 25th to get it done!

[RMXP] What's the etiquette for using custom scripts in games you wish to sell?
If they do not allow usage in commercial projects or require that you purchase a license, don't quibble. If you expect to make money off the project, they deserve their cut, even if it's just the $20 they ask for people to use them.
A weird thing I noticed about Vtubers
Different people have different reactions to games. Like, are they playing horror games and got jump-scared? It'd be weird if they hyperventilate while playing a minigolf game vs being terrified of a horror game or laughing their ass off when playing with friends or reading chat comments.

Exploring parts of the game world you weren't meant to get to.
I mean, if you go out of the bounds, even in a game you like, you're not finding more content there. Just buggyness. You're not supposed to go out of the bounds... that's why there's no content to find beyond them.
When you make a game, you only allow access to the playable parts. IMO there's should be any way out of the bounds because nothing should exist beyond them. At all. That's not the game...

Swap in 3 Middle with Who?
I usually don't take preferences into consideration. What I do is randomise the games, then fit them to the list of names. If anyone doesn't have that engine then I'll swap with a game that is of an engine they have and keep swapping until everyone has a game that matches an engine they own.
Sorry ^.^;
It's very possible you won't get a preferred engine depending on how the numbers roll. The better way of 'choosing' an engine is probably just saying you only _have_ your preferred engines, tbh. XD

Get an egg badge by showing off what progress you've made every day until the end of the first half of the event! Just post in the above thread (it's on our official Discord).

Swap in 3 Middle with Who?
Okay, for those who missed it being written in the rules (because apparently some people are confused)
The first two weeks are for making the first half. Currently the End Date shows when the games need to be submitted to this page. ONLY the first halves!
Then the date will update to the end of the second halves (and event). Initially it was 2 weeks but because I'll be taking a day or two in between sorting who has what and gets what, and because you might need to contact the first halfer for info if you get stuck on something, I pushed it an extra week.
So first halves need to be in by the due date (which should be at the end of the 4th, though exact time will depend on what time you've got site hourly settings on.
The second halves will need to be submitted (via game page!) by the end of the 25th of September.
Hope that clears things up. As always, any questions, do ask!
