Well, I'm an old guy, 71(crap,there goes another year:( who loves RPGs, especially Action, Adven., ever since my older brother got me hooked on The Legend of Zelda.
Would LOVE to create a game of my own. Even purchased the ACE program, but got frustrated when I could not even make a decent town river :(
But that's ok, I still love these independent games..

Well I'm at it again :)
Downloaded a few new files trying to get rmk2 to work.
Then I downloaded ROMANCING WALKER. Cranked it up and get the following error:
DirectDraw Error (DDERR_unsupported)
Anyone know what that means??

Well, another enjoyable game with the same few graphical glitches...or at least they look like glitches to a game maker wannabe :)
Fun game and good comedy. Got several belly laughs from that poor cat :(

pianotm is right. I'll be honest, most of the time on this forum I usually discredit the opinion of people that haven't made good games. Which means I also discredit myself.
This is why the light bulb over my head is flashing :)
Let the people who actually make the games review them for the developer to get good feedback to improve on his/her game.
Let the summary, screen pics and post section help a player decide if he wants to try playing the game.

What if there were reviews for the eyes of the developers only, but no star reviews.
The game page and screenies is what I use mostly to see if I will like a game.
Most people I feel like a few particular types of games. The search/sorting program lets us pick a group of games we like.
Then we go to the game page, read what it's about and check the screenies.
Like I said.....JUST A THOUGHT :)

Got the search bar back.
Liberty was correct. The only thing I download are games from this site and
rmn games from a few of the sister sites.
Something I must have done trying to resolve a computer problem caused this :(
I went into GOOGLE setting and went back to Orig. Settings and got the search bar back......yyyiiippppeeeee :)

I remember when kentona changed the layout of the site and I asked him to put the #of downloads back on the left side where it was.
I thought he was being mean and removed the search bar on me :(
ah ha, used to use Firefox but had some trouble so switched to Chrome.
Google and or Windows 8 is screwing with me by holding up some game downloads and telling me that software could be dangerous to my computer. I have to tell it to kiss my...well, and let me use the software.
On the other hand, even if he is the "best dad ever!!!", our godly leader did not know FireFox and Chrome are messing with his game site :) I wonder if he will commence legal action :)

Are you guys screwing with me? I've had a little short term memory problem
but I'm damn sure there used to be a search bar in the upper right hand corner
of the screen.....
