Well, I'm an old guy, 71(crap,there goes another year:( who loves RPGs, especially Action, Adven., ever since my older brother got me hooked on The Legend of Zelda.
Would LOVE to create a game of my own. Even purchased the ACE program, but got frustrated when I could not even make a decent town river :(
But that's ok, I still love these independent games..

RTP for RPG200 or here we go again :)
ah man, you guys (sorry Liberty :), are killing me.
I'm an elderly person :) and really not sure what all the tech language means.
As an example: When I unzip a download, I see many files but have no idea what they mean. I know enough to right click on the exe file to start the game using my ADMIN. and then right click on the exe file to send an icon to my desktop but that's about it. When the developer starts giving info on what files need to be placed at such and such a location......I delete the game and look for another game :( haha
Guess it's off to GOOGLE for another rmk2 version :)

Oh, I've downloaded about 15 games for rmk2. A few work but I get errors on most so will keep trying :)

I just downloaded two 2000 games and when I tried to open it got a message about rtp but it looked like part of the message was in French :) first time I ever saw that....I think.
Guess I will have to look around some more for the rtp :(
OH and what happened to the rmn REVOLUTION site ??

Fragile Hearts
Well, I don't care what LWG says, this game was fun and that cat was the funniest character I've seen in any game.
I will say there were a few problems. Such as being able to walk thru some things that should have blocked me.
The biggest problem I had was the HP was shown during battles but not the MP. Had to waste some time during fights to get my MP back :(
Other then that, I really enjoyed this game and in fact, have already started the next game.....let's hope it's as funny as this one was. :)

Thing is Never, you may be wrong :)
Many times I will read a review and if that person either says a game is terrible and rips it to shreds OR they clearly explain why they thought a game was so good, I would click on their names to see their games and try to decide just how well their games are made. MANY, MANY times there is either nothing in their developers section or they have several unfinished games.
If they have several finished games I will check them out and maybe play one. On the other hand, if they have several unfinished games from 2-5 years old...how much do they really know about making games and if not much then how much is their opinion on why a game is good or bad really worth...
I know. I purchased the VXACE and have so much trouble understanding how to actually create a game, so what do I know :( for that reason "just saying ^^^the above. I love playing many of the games on this site but can't seem to get myself to actually make one :(

@amerk, I'm pretty sure Liberty will respond herself, but since I created this monster, thought it might be ok for me to say something.
I have a feeling Liberty might be a little frustrated and I can understand that.
I have a feeling some of you are upset with a word or two she uses. I was also wondering the same thing. BUT, I've got a feeling it's a way of speaking. Some of us simply use a few words more than others are used to hearing :)
It looks like about 15 of us would like to make reviewing easier and Liberty is the only person answering us....I actually feel a little sorry for her having to take us all on and try to make us understand that 300 words is not really a lot to write.
As for me, my spelling and grammar are not great and sometimes the spell/grammar check I use may even be giving me bad information :)
MAYBE, since the developers are the only ones who REALLY know what goes into a game should be doing the real reviews so the game maker gets a pros feedback and let the rest of us give a star review based on how we like or not like a game.
Those who don't know how to make a game can give a number of stars and an opinion in the post area if we want.

When thinking about trying to review a game, I never even thought about MS.
Really just wanted to mention to the developer what I enjoyed about the game and if I saw anything I might like to see differently, even though I still don't know how to make a game :( Maybe get another player to try it.
If I really did not like a game, I probably would not even review it since I might put off someone else from playing who would enjoy it.
Also, many people when playing a game are simply enjoying themselves and when done may not remember a part that was not so great so if you don't write reviews often enough, your thoughts might not help anyone.
So, a short question and answer form might help....OK people, you can open fire on me now :)

I sure hope this discussion I started can help this site and the developers.
That Template idea would be great for players like me.
And if you think about it, there are really two kinds of people who would review games. Those like me, who could contribute their likes and dislikes but ALSO those who really KNOW how to make games and help the developers with ideas on how to improve a particular game or maybe just those games they create in the near future.
