Well, I'm an old guy, 71(crap,there goes another year:( who loves RPGs, especially Action, Adven., ever since my older brother got me hooked on The Legend of Zelda.
Would LOVE to create a game of my own. Even purchased the ACE program, but got frustrated when I could not even make a decent town river :(
But that's ok, I still love these independent games..

FOUR STARS...for what ??
I may be missing a lot of good games :( so will have to check the categories more.
But I tend to stick with RPG, Advent. and Action.
I also click on ether Full Game List OR New Games.
Then if I see a game that interests me I will check out the screenshots. If they look good to my silly brain, it gets downloaded :(
OH, I will also let the Coach pick some for me :).
Not sure why, but every so often I will come across a game that's been around for a few years and I've NEVER seen it listed before....wonder why.

Basically, all I was trying to do is participate in this site a little more.
There are many games I've played which I did not really enjoy but I'm sure others liked a lot so I would not have rated it. On the other hand, I played a few that I really, really enjoyed and wanted to boost that games rating and play by others for all the effort the developer put into creating the game.
There was one game I played that I could not get over how much I enjoyed it and could not wait till I got to the next screen to see what happens. That game got several good reviews but one poor review which robbed it of its rightful place within the star rating. I would have loved to have reviewed that game and given it a boost but did not know how to do it and even if I could have, maybe would not have spent the time to do so. Just me and my laziness when it comes to essays. God, can't tell you how terrible my marks in English class were.
Liking or not liking a game by posting in summary section just gets lost unless the developer reads the comments.

Koli's Sorrow 2
Finished the game.
Really enjoyed it. Did get confused in the streets around the Castle in the beginning. Kept forgetting which way to turn.
Hope I'm not giving anything away here, I felt bad about cheating :( but sure am glad I did cheat, otherwise I would have been frustrated and quit even if I don't like being called a quitter. But don't mind much being called a cheater...

Guess my biggest problem is with format for the review and trying to remember
what I actually did in the game. I can remember some of the things I enjoyed or
did not enjoy but I would hate to generalize and be responsible for lowering the points on a game when others might really enjoy it....guess I do ramble a bit :)

You're both right, but on the other hand and no, I would not belittle a game by giving it one star when several others have given it four, but should a game SHOW 4 stars when only one person wrote a review?

So I'm thinking, maybe the boss needs to think about changing the procedures for awarding the number of stars a game gets.
I've seen several, if not many games with 1 review, but it has 4 or 4&1/2 stars.
There are those of us who are simply not good enough to write a full and educated review of a game because we don't even know how to MAKE a game..ya, that's me :)
But, I have played several games here and would have liked to give a number of stars to that game.
Maybe the reviews and the stars should be separate so those of us who really enjoy a game can show our appreciation by staring it without having to write a review we don't know how to make :)

That sounds about right. Apparently Windows 8 is a dick to older programs (hence why I'm never updating from Windows 7 - fuck you Microsoft!!!). Not sure what you can do - there's bound to be a way to get them to play but... yeah...
Maybe someone else will have a better idea.
OH Ms.Princess, is you a Microsoft hater ?? :) I just went through another problem Microsoft caused that made me find a computer outside my home so I could even get back on my computer :( had to do with my password/signon. Rotten Microsoft :*(
Think I might just try downing loading that RMK2 again....
As for your last post :) I don't put any files anywhere. When I download and RMK2, I did the same I do with all the RMK engines, don't have to move any files round....but then if you remember my older posts...I'm a dummie when it comes to understanding anything about files :)
