Sounds fun, like a duel.
It's practically Skyward Sword.

I won't deny that I'm channelling Skyward sword for this battle. It works a little differently, though.

Instead of trying to find an area that the soldier's not guarding, this battle requires you to knock aside the enemy's blade with your own.

Also, interesting you would call him wolf- "Volk" is Russian for wolf.
