I don't know what it is, but there's something charming about this one... can't put my finger on it.
Looking Back: Final Fantasy Endless Nova
I loved FFEN. And dream star? Well, I remember ManaMoon for his Manabat game, that was just silly enough to be heaps of fun. The only comedy game I've played that's actually funny.

I won't deny that I'm channelling Skyward sword for this battle. It works a little differently, though.
Instead of trying to find an area that the soldier's not guarding, this battle requires you to knock aside the enemy's blade with your own.

Gameplay revamp
Thanks bigtime. I'm working on my first boss now. Then it's a test play and (hopefully) a working demo by the end of next month.
I NEED FEEDBACK
The only thing I have to complain about really is the quicktime event before you die. It's a great system, but a little too forgiving. Would like to see a consequence for using it that would limit the amount of times it actually works (for example, maybe you lose money). Make the player choose between dying (which means they start from where they saved) or living (which means losing an advantage).
