Anyway, being something of a passing reference to Star Control 3 and the Exquivans, I'm gonna say that "Test thine metal" is totally on purpose. Also, it would fit the way she speaks. Thanks for that anyway!
Oh! I see! Post-Battle Jenova dialogue reveals sense! ... That Rasuna music! So different! Nice!
OMGWTFBBQ! Rasuna looks so OP! I read the Walkthrough, but just looking at her skill list makes it so much more, wow.
Also, at the Vatma battle, you have the Korn Elder saying that (he?)'d deal with them, then you go to Vatma battle? Should it not be the Korn Elder battle? Wait... So, Vatma is the Korn Elder, I guess, it's just that we don't get him name until the battle...
Walkthrough
Wuh~! ... Asleep lasts forever? I did not know that! Could you put that in? 'Cause some (most?) games don't have infinite duration Sleep.
If I poison something, then put it to sleep, I can just wait and kill it when I want to... Is that too game-breaky? 'Cause now I can do the Ancient Tower at LV43! ... if I can get those bosses with those conditions in the first place...
***
Oh! You have to last 8 turns against Vatma? I just sort of gave up 'cause I knew how impossible it was. But, I guess you can't hijack the Game Over screen.
Well, I'll see what's after Vatma after I find out how to survive 8 rounds. Need to be at LV47 or so?
Also, in your Enemy Notes, you say "Teir" instead of "Tier"...
***
In-game typo:
Sataro: "Weather or not it will", "Weather" to "Whether"
***
Onto Matsumori High!

Does this look any better?
What's different, other than the eyeshine and lining? Is it darker, or brighter? ... I don't think you changed the shadowing?
Note: Placing brighter things inside darker things makes them seem brighter than they would otherwise.
RTP (Ready to Proceed)
author=Red_Novaauthor=MalandyI don't see an issue, to be honest. In fact, I think they match the style of the heroes better than the RTP enemies did. As for the backgrounds, well... they're not supposed to match. The enemies shouldn't blend into the background because the point is for them to stick out visually. Can you elaborate on how they don't match? Maybe you see something we don't.
Hmm... The monsters' art styles don't match the background or the protags.
But, they do match each other, and monsters are monsters, so why should they match with anything but themselves?
Well, what stuck on most to me, on that example, is that the snake's skin is all one shade, unlike Mia and the rest, who get shadows, like in their hair.
The bat seems smaller than the snake, and the shading thing applies to it too, but for that, it's mainly the flame aura which feels different/wrong 'cause I haven't seen auras in this game?
Also, the new monster eyes seem to glow more, a.k.a are brighter compared to the skin, when compared to Junsunia? Image for comparison below:

Also, I see what you mean, these pics have monsters that blend in more. ... I guess to me, if the monsters blend into the background well, they feel like part of the world more?
And your PC art fits the RPG Maker Style, to feel 'right', even if they don't blend into the battle background. Which they shouldn't? As they're not your enemies?

- "...but is always jinxed"
This means the status "Jinx" will always be applied if it isn't already. I'm pretty sure debuffs do not stack, unless they are separate status conditions. So, like, you can have somebody Jinxed and Stupefied at the same time (thus granted an extra debuff to INT), or Jinxed and inflicted with Cowardice) thus granting an extra debuff to STR), or what-have-you.
So, when I face Vatma, casting Jinx, or that higher-level version, is pointless 'cause it'll be covered by the auto-Jinx?
'Cause you say "Sure, you can use Jinx on him so that his initial attacks are not as effective, but the debuff will eventually fall off."
Or did you mean to say that the player party is auto-Jinxed instead of Vatma?

Also, I'm pretty sure I never set up any special event if players actually beat Vatma. They are not expected to, that's for sure!
*Edit: I was totally logging on to make an update to this game!

Game updated! Thanks again to Malandy for the spell-checking and bug report! Hopefully, things should work a bit better now. I'm... somewhat assuming Malandy will move onto Matsumori Days and will find things I'll need to fix there? The issue of getting VX working on my current machine is still up in the air either way.
Yep! I'll move to Matsumori Days after I finish playing this! ... Might be better to use blogs to announce updates, as posts just say "Marrend made a new post..." which doesn't tell us subscribers that we should download the new version, since updating files don't give Notices.
But I remember seeing one... Fake Memory? Unless that file update Notice only happens if the game is Incomplete?
Typo:
Did you intend Jenova to say 'metal' when she says "Test thine metal"? That is, instead of 'mettle'? 'Cause I sorta-justified it as her being weird/ancient.
Unless I find more bugs, I'll do a typo-list once I've finished the game.
EDIT: While it would be nice for Ichiro to get dialogue in the Ishino Ruins, that's just my idea for an Easter Egg.
Walkthrough
"Sataro keeping up with Geo"... I think you mean "Aero", 'cause using Earth against the Earth Spirit seems doomed to fail...
What is familiar to Mina about the "La la la la la", or whatever is hummed, by the Port Hideki girl?
Also I'm abusing Stun so much, that I'm surprised you didn't put it in your strategies. Although, apparently Vatma is immune to it... But not much/mothing else is. It's so useful to stop the Bosches from wailing on me with their Accumulated Rages and Satellite Beams and whatever.
"but is always jinxed." So, how can you Jinx Vatma again? Or do Jinxes stack somehow?
Did you program anything for if someone actually managed to kill Vatma?

From what you're describing about the monk guarding the entrance of Order of the Bull Fist, it does sound like a move-route bug.
Oh, yeah! I just reset and did it again, and the guy does move to the right.

I assume you mean after doing the Rite with the Earth Spirit, and after returning to Yokoki? Or, maybe, you mean after being booted out of the school, and needing to change clothes. I feel like the latter event is the less obvious one, and would cause some head-scratching.
Yeah, but even in the very beginning, you have to go rest before you get the assignment to go to the ruins, I think.

I don't recall how much inns cost, so I can't really comment on the "Unwinnable By Insanity" quip in regards to not having enough money to pay for inns. Though, if players ever get to the Order of the Bull Fist (you were SO CLOSE!), there is free resting there. One of the many reasons to "Set" a Beacon there, to be sure!
The inns cost 10GP. The Sassa and Port Hideki ones are 10GP.
On that note, sorta, the training monk in the weapons' sales room is pretty tough! ... I guess we get to buy those Elemental Attack Gems, (Sapphire, Ruby, Emerald, Turquoise.), on the second Bull Order Upgrade event?
Also the Desert has free recovery too! ... Can you skip the Fire Spirit, I wonder... I don't have a save far enough away to check, but that's just idle musing.

As for fixes, I seriously doubt it's as simple as copying over the files? I mean, I have the game-files, and VX's RTP installed on my current computer. Just not the engine itself. When last I tried to install the engine, the program was looking for a 25-character-long validation key. Mine, being nine (or so) years old, was, like, 5 characters short. Anyway, I send a support ticket, but, there hasn't been a response yet. Though, I would admit that I was trying to do this back when MV was brand-spanking new, so that might have gummed up the works a bit!
*Edit: Though, in all honesty, I might tend toward doing fixes on my old 'puter, and transferring from there. As long as I have this option, I might as well use it!
Rambling...
(Assuming you have Windows here...)
Perhaps ask on the RPG Maker Web Forums, or the forums here, about this stuff?
It's not like you're pirating or something... And it seems to work for most/all of my programs. Using registry entries as registration checks doesn't seem to be a common practice?
It's not like the program will lock you out if you try and copy it. But, I'm not you.
Taking out the hard drive and plugging it into your new computer is also something that might be done, if you feel up to it... But, I'm rambling here...
I mean like going into where the RPG Maker VX program files are like in Program Files/RPG Maker VX or whatever, and just putting that on a jump-drive or something, and moving it to your new computer.
There might be some registry things that are needed to be done, but then you can use regedit to look for registries that say "VX" or "RPG Maker VX" or whatever and replicate it on your new machine.
