Well, I haven't finished the game, but I'll make some notes here since I found my first bug...
If I talk to the Okoko Mountain Monk from the right, the monk on the second screen, the dialogue plays, and then I can't move, presumably since the monk is supposed to move to the right, and I've blocked him.

It's not bad, other than the balancing issues, which you've already noticed, but that's not a deal breaker for me. Given that this is the prologue of a series it's not that bad... Wow... That's feels like It's Not Supposed to Win Oscars... Sorry... Well, I guess I'll agree with Muninn's review by the end of this.
Perhaps you can move VX onto your new computer? Just copy all the files over, maybe?

Could you trap yourself by running out of Geld-Pasil and so you can't pay an inn to heal you? Although, that's Unwinnable By Insanity... And not expected to be fixed unless you want to Think of Everything...

I think for that one, I just got all the Magic boosts I could, put on the Lifeblood Necklace, Mediated, and kept Atomizing as fast as I could.
No wait... The enemies apply status effects too... And I think they can be paralyzed? ... I think I had the Everything's Okay Bell at that point. ... Have you been doing the Pig Arena?

The Pig Arena has a hidden level? Also, we don't know that the final level gives the Bell until we win. Is that intentional?

Yep, you'll be coming back. It'll take a while though, so you might want to save-scum until you get the super rare things, like Fire Dragon Skulls, which you'll want for Fierce Demon Helms.
Well, there's a Fire Dragon Skull chest somewhere in there... Forget if you need to come back later... It might need power, so I guess it's impossible? So, just go see the cutscene, and stuff... I guess?

What about the gladiator arena events? At what levels would you suggest I attempt those at?
I think I waited until end-game because them you get all the anti- equips to help, but if you actually want a challenge, you could just keep trying over a few times.

Edit: Also, I've entered that one tower that has jump points going down and apparently jump points going up, though the up arrows don't seem to function. I don't suppose I'll be visiting this tower again, at which point the up and down arrows will both work?

Sataro's skills should be a straight-up replacement. Also, while I'm thankful for the spell-checking, would you mind compiling a list and PMing it to me instead?
As for possible fixes to the game proper, while I don't have VX on my current computer (I don't want to get too much into this story here), I can still use my old computer (it's about one year older than my RMN profile!) to make corrections. However, I'm not sure how long I can afford to hold onto it!

Anyway, while the skills Student-Sataro may look like that...There's very little chance anyone would have the patience to grind hard enough to see him get any new abilities. Though, I think he manages well enough with what little he has.
Yeah, but it's basically an Easter Egg that only hackers or hardcore grinders will see. But, then again, that's pretty normal.
Does Summoner!Sataro have the same skills as Student!Sataro, and you just listed the new ones? Or is that a replacement of his whole skill set?
