The Here and Now of Yesterday

I got stuck in the room with the barrels. After 20 minutes, I guess the best answer is alt+f4 and delete the game. It had come to that since there's no button at all to bring up the menu to even quit, let alone save. The background music was so absurdly unfit with the horror theme, and given the first puzzle was press space at every 'square' to find the right gear for the knights - there's little incentive to go further. I can't comment on the story...because, well, the opening gives none, which lessen any incentive to go on. There's hardly any interaction with the environment too. Sorry but skip this game.

The wine cellar right? Yeah, that was my room. This is rather disheartening to hear. There is an answer, however. Try checking out the walkthrough.

I thought saving was done with the press of the "9" key? The blat at the opening that mentions that "nine saves" is a rather oblique reference....

OHMYGODOHMYGOD... Okay. I've just now realized how freaking terrified I am of drive-by shootings. One just happened not too long ago ;w;

There...wasn't a second question.

WHERE ARE YOU

Well, probably...

CLOSAT - The Culmination - {DEADLINE IMMINENT!}

These challenges could be much worse. Much worse.

Write a story using only palindromic sentences? Yeah, let's "hide" this idea.

Envenomed, paralyzed, purged, stunned, asleep, stoned, frozen, zombie, confused, berserkr'ed, wounded, cursed.

Someone's playing FFX.

That would be me! Sort of.

This isn't so bad! Batter than anything I could draw, that's for sure!

I'm 22 today \o/ I find this very depressing :(

22 is not old. Neither is 37.

How did you get started in RM ?

Darigaaz, I've got a story and a half!

I think it might have been my brother, coming back from a year of college, when I was introduced to RPG Maker 95? I know I played with it, but nothing serious ever really happened with it.

At some point, I got 2K. I might have downloaded a few games for it during the time I used it, but I don't recall their names. So, no, I've never heard of A Blurred Line, or Three the Hard Way, or really, anything you guys consider "classic", until I visited this site. As for myself, I managed to belch out a crap game with the engine, while my brother made one complete game (Legacy) and a demo (Summoner).

I didn't touch an RPG Maker engine again until XP. When I got to XP, I made four games in about two months. They were, in the order I made them in, Nakaishi Wars, Matsumori Days, House of Askikaga, and Legacy Reborn. Suffice it to say, they were all pretty crappy games.

Legacy Reborn was supposed to be a re-boot of a 2K game my brother made, Legacy. XP didn't quite have what I wanted. I wondered if there was an update, or something, and I came across VX. I gave it a try, and I liked what I saw. In fact, I remade all my XP projects in VX. Long story short, only two games from the "XP era" have survived: Legacy Reborn (Which has been cancelled, so can you really call it a survivor?), and Matsumori Days.

I don't know how many "new" projects I started in VX that never came to light. Final Fantasy Foolishness - Version Omega, Breath of Fire - Armageddon (These two games had exceptionally poor execution) and Oracle of Askikaga (Don't ask) come to the forefront of my mind.

Well hello everybody

I've seen a house fly, I've seen a horse fly, I've heard a rubber band, but I've been, done, seen about everything when I see a jester fly.

I'm sensing a Dumbo reference here.

Anyway, welcome to RMN! Share your creativity with us!

Don't know why, but she reminds me of a Final Fantasy character...

Terra Branford?
