If that's true then why do all the major developers use mostly HD? In fact I have only ever seen Indie games use 16-Bit-like graphics.

Have you thought about maybe adding pixel movement instead. I think it would look better than tile movement with your maps.

What do you think is the most beautiful RPG Maker game?
I've seen many beautiful maps on youtube, but rarely see any actual completed games that feature such beauty. What game would you say is the most beautiful you have played?

From the looks of your pictures it seems your not using the full size of the charsets, so you could stretch the images to fit into the whole charset. Also you can use a cherry's charset patch to use any size charset you want if thats not big enough.

Use this command to change the size of the chipset; @set_texture_scale
By default the chipset is two times bigger, but you can change it with said command.

How to add fun to grinding?
I think maybe making grinding more about skill than just button mashing can make grinding more fun because now the player is grinding to get better at it as well as progressing with the game.
