Here is a thought, you could just mirror a single door charset and make your own double door charset. Else check charas-project they have a charset for just about everything.

...rm2k3 to rm2k? Is there any work arounds you can do to import your events and maps to rm2k from rm2k3?

Is there any new updates for RPG MAKER 2003?

Speaking of rpg maker 2009 ultimate, mine broke. Doesn't save changes anymore, only the database though.

That will make custom battles much easier to create. Could also use it for quite a few things else too.
