Danganronpa Forge:Re

Damn, this better come out. Looks better then Obama RPG, the game that was too good to have.

Fuck, I'll make DLC for this even, looks like a great ass game.

Moving Forward - Plans and an Open Discussion on the Direction of the Game

Just checking in after years of being away. I just want to say that this project is freakin' amazing, and I can't emphasize how impressive the whole project is. The new ideas you bring up seem pretty cool.

As for Afropup's reception...yesh. Yeah, I guess if I look at it a certain way, I can see what people are getting at. I honestly just thought a disco based pokemon would be great, and I like dogs so I thought mixing the two ideas...obivously, that didn't end up well.

I think incoperating the yellowish-brown idea is best. It looks barkish, which fits the line being grass-based, and would should the true intent of the Pokemon.

P.S. Pink Shiny is the most fabulous of the shinies.

Sonic the Hedgehog RPG - Dimensional Worlds

This seems like a fun idea. My question is, what parts of Sonic lore will it take inspiration from? I'd kind of love if it took a bit from everything, tbh. The sonic cartoons (SatAM, Adventures, X), the comics (Archie, and the ridiculous Fleetway), and every game, be it a mainline or weird spin-off (racing, fighters, spinball). I mean, is Sonic the Darkside Chronicles get a mention?

I know that's a lot, but with so many years of Sonic, it'll be interesting to see what you use and how.

Valentine's Day: Proposal in a game!

I think it'd be cool if you make the game based off something that'd interest them, but not obviously set-up for a proposal. Then you can have an area where "two lovers" are, maybe even make them legendary lovers in story and have the ghost representing you ask the person out. The story for the two lover could just be telling your memories with the person you love, leading up for the proposal. I dunno, just my idea.

Tankentai Battle System N00bish Questions/Help

*UPDATE*:

So, I've switched to Victor's Animated Battlers. Everything is set up nicely, but I'm still curious as to if there is a way to change the size of the fighters.

Also, I'm wondering if there is any MarioRPG-like addons. I found Galv's Timed Attacks script, and that would answer all my prayers for the battle system, but it doesn't seem compatible. Any feedback or suggestions on this would be great.

Fight Club: Blackmoon Prophecy II Edition

Yeah, at least I got a few laughs here and there...

But my suggestion would be to get some bosses (maybe even final bosses) from big RMN names: Hero's Realm, Legacy of the Lost, games that have are highly known in the community and fit the setting.

Fight Club: Blackmoon Prophecy II Edition

I doubt this will get in, but might as well try.

Name: Slammaster Jam-Sama
Sprite: Anything can work here really; a monster made out of bballs, a basketball player, really anything that can throw a Bball
Origin: A master of the ancient game of Basketball, Slammaster has defeated countless numbers of B-ballers, and has gained the title of the "King of Dunks". Now looking for a new challenge, he journeys throughout the world, searching for worthy opponents to test in battle.
Difficulty: A bit above medium; not super hard, but not super easy.

The RMN Chain Game

So, is this project dead? This type of game seems like my jam, and the overall plot is ballin'. I dunno if RMN is hosting any other chain games, but they seem like something I'd love.

Is anyone else interested in working on this project?

Tankentai Battle System N00bish Questions/Help

There is so many side view battle systems out there. Maybe try Yami Symphony.

The thing is, I've looked around, and Tankentai is the one that fits all of my needs, except the ones listed above. The only reason I would change systems is if there was a well-built script with a MarioRPG-like combat style already built in another script.

]There is a way, as my game uses larger sprites. I just forget what I did to accomplish it. I'll get back to you!

Thanks! I plan on my sprites been much larger then the usual RPG, so anything would help.

Tankentai Battle System N00bish Questions/Help

So, I started to try out battle systems for RPG Maker VX Ace, and I immeditally fell in love with the Tankentai Battle System. It has mostly everything I need for my game, and is just a gift for the heavens. That being said, I have some ideas for my game that I worry won't be able to be done with the system, so I thought it'd be good to get some help/feedback for my n00bish questions.

First off, I'm planning on my game to have a Mario RPG style to battles. What I mean by this, is that the battles will be sideways, and when attacking, multiple options for attacks pop up, and then to pull off the attack successfully you have to complete a sort of quick time-based mini-game of sorts (Something like this: http://rpgmaker.net/games/2205/MHBS/). I don't know if this is capable in the system though, and if it is, how would it be pulled off? Scripting?

Second off, the battlers are a bit too tiny for my liking. Thus, I was wondering if there was any way to change the size. Every time I've tried so far, I've just broken the system, because I have no idea what I'm doing to be honest.

So yeah, any help would be great, as I'm sort of stuck at the moment.
