I think he means they have too many. As in "I have all these skills, and I don't know what they all do because they weren't introduced to me gradually."
Oh, if that's the case then I agree. Don't worry. Demon Legacy didn't suffer from this, and neither will this game.

Nightblade, approximately how far into the game was that clip taken? I am hoping it's a bit into the game. Nothing drives me crazier than getting a character and it's like HEY LOOK AT ALL MY MAGIC YOU DONT KNOW.
Not terribly far I'm afraid. Im not sure I understand the last part of this post though. Are you asking if the skills shown are dummy skills / skills you get later? If that's it, then no.

So... Did this guy rip the art from a hentai game, or is the character design that awful?
Well, the animation is nice...Anyway, now for much more interesting me related news.

Youtube kind of screwed the quality a bit, but its not as bad as the last video I put out.
Orthogonal perspective owns
For all the action jumps, is there anything that tells the player where you can jump? As far as I can tell, 90% of the time you just walk to something and jump. Can you jump at all similar tiles (ie. The first jump a few tiles down there's an area that looks the exact same as where you jumped. Could you also jump there?) when there's no arrows? (ps it dissapeared after you made the jump) Oram I just blindis shitty Youtube quality getting in the way?
Good question, in the game's previous dungeon, you are informed that you can jump over small gaps. For the long jumps, I've added small white arrows to indicate where you can jump (you can actually see them in the video)You're gently reminded at the beginning of the field level that you can still do it... I'm hoping that's enough. We'll see what the testers thing about it though.

Not my work, but I think its note worthy, and I have to say its the best RM2k-3 game I have ever seen, perhaps even best RM game.

Don't use wikipedia for referencing, just fyi.
I don't get the point of your post. I got that it's meant to be sarcastic, but what has 'remaking a game seven or eight times' got to do with anything? Sorry to pre-empt, but if you mean that making several short games = remaking the same game, it just proves my point that people don't think enough.
Because remaking a game seven or eight times is what helped me improve, but not everyone would necessarily agree with that approach.
Preparing a video for youtube
I've been looking to replace the really awful quality, soundless gameplay video I have up on youtube.
I've made a new video, but I'm almost positive youtube will ruin the quality once I upload it, I vaguely remember someone giving me a simple tip to help with this, bit I seem to have forgotten. I know a lot of people here have posted entire playthroughs of their games on youtube, so I come here asking for help. What can / should I do before uploading this thing?

Well, if they're spending years creating an epic RPG, that takes a longer time to 'tweak' and make non-crappy than a shorter game would. The scale of the project can relate to its quality.
I don't remember using the word "tweak". Excessive "use" of "quotation" "marks" is pretty bad on the "internet" it "seems".
Hey guys, do what I did and remake your game seven or eight times! I did it so it must be a good practice, Go; do it now. Now now. Listen to what I have to saaayyyyyyy.
What might work for you, will not work for everyone else. It would be best if people remembered this.
And no, I have no problem with variety.
Your Game Sucks
How about people just make their games more interesting? You state earlier in your post that you don't want people making "epic" rpgs, then later on you list some RPGs as an example of what to do. (I really hope nobody is "inspired" by Virus' obnoxious camera turrets).
There are many things people can do to make their games stand out. You can't simply tell these guys to STOP MAKING YOUR CRAPPY GAMES, AND GO MAKE OTHER EQUALLY CRAPPY TYPES OF GAMES!
