Rm2k3 on Windows 7: Slight choppiness
I recently am trying Windows 7 again. Thankfully; most of the problems Ive had previously SEEM to have been fixed (though I may be speaking too soon).
There is still one issue I'm having, and thats with Rm2k3.
Everytime I go to play a game (Naturally in windowed mode), the game is choppy. Not unplayably choppy; but slightly choppy and a bit annoying.
Does this happen to anyone else, and does anyone have a solution for this?

What do you use for MP3 encoding?
Well, earlier today after grabbing an MP3 off youtube I go through my usual optimization rituals so that my game doesn't end up being a 300MB download. I trim the fat off with Audacity and import it into a crappy free program I found called "MP3reducer" to lower the rate to 56... Or whatever it's called.
Anyway, for no apparent reason; the program stopped working (Upon pressing "encode" it would pop up telling me "Finished! 0 Mp3s were encoded!").
What's another good free option for reducing the file size of MP3s, or; what do you all use to do this?

Yeah, so I've never played Diablo II.
Whenever I mention the above to someone, they stare at me like a dead beta max... or at least they would if I had told them face to face. I can't help but feel like I've missed out on something really great. I've already played and thoroughly enjoyed torchlight, so I was considering picking the game up.
I've heard of addicts playing this game for almost 6 years now, so I was curious if anyone around here still played. Is it too late, have I missed the golden age?

Chrono Trigger Resources or - WTF?
I'm looking for chipsets from Chrono Trigger. A simple task one would think; but for some reason - they have become annoyingly difficult to find.
Does anyone have a bunch of Chrono Trigger chipsets laying around? Anything would be great, but I'm looking for one in particular - Guardia Castle.

Probably one of the more anticipated titles coming out this november. A co-op first person shooter RPG hybrid with mechanics similar to Diablo... Or so I've been told.
The game does look a bit interesting I have to say, It's produced by Gearbox, a team that has close ties to valve (They did Blue Shift and some other mods for Half Life).
If anyone else is thinking of grabbing this game, you can get a 4 pack on steam for 134.97
*(Ends up being just under 34 US per person, as oppose to the single preorder price of 44.99, or full retail for 49.99)
Would anyone else be interested in the game go for a 4 pack deal? It would essentially be arranged through paypal.

Fallen Earth, definitely not a fallout clone.
As I sit here, after a game of Team Fortress 2, I accidentally come across a game called Fallen Earth, a true MMOFPS (as opposed to the fake ones, ala Combat Arms) fallout clone game set in a post apocalyptic grand canyon. A lot of the ideas presented seem interesting; and it's pretty much the second true MMOFPS out there at the moment. Being a former MMO player and big FPS person; The game itself is by an independent developer and apparently it's shown a great deal of promise despite a few pre-release pangs (bugs). I hear it makes a strong emphasis on crafting, and has skill based advancement (no classes).

Why is it that blog comments are listed from oldest to newest instead of the other way around? It doesn't really make a whole lot of sense having it this way.
Only able to write 3 lines in Rm2k3
For some reason I can't comprehend, RM2k3 is only allowing me to write 3 lines of text as opposed to 4. I had this problem once before, but the solution for this escapes me. I think it has something to do with a system font or... something. Has this ever happened to anyone else?
Age of Conan digital download; first to reply gets a free game
SO! I decided to enter a raffle for a game I already had. It's probably one of the only decent MMORPGs around right now. Be forewarned that this download is fairly big, and the system requirements aren't really approachable. BUT, if you don't mind these two things; I'll give you my MMORPG.com login name. After that you just fill in the form and I assume you get a link to the digital download. Said digital download comes with 30 days game time.
For those who are used to the traditional MMORPG pitfalls, you may be pleasantly surprised... well, by at least the introduction of the game. Initially, my plan was to hold some kind of self indulgent fan art contest to promote my game. The winner would receive the digital download; however; it occurred to me that a contest like this would seem a little obnoxious... Also, the game itself is only worth around 19.99 at this point... Oh well.
