NGP/PSP2
Well Dudesoft, I am afraid I can predict the truth from here. From the way they aren't carrying about the library of the new NGP at the start anyway, is because I think they will still be allowing developers to make PSP games. I think they are going to do a Ps2-Ps3 on us and squeeze every inch of the PSP's worth to cover for losses on the NGP. Why?
The system has way to much stuff built in, they apparently don't even have developers interested in it yet. They are ditchig the UMD drive which already failed, and the PSP still has a lack of games. I think that Sony will be supporting technically 4 systems when the NGP comes out. "Now Gone Playstation"

Augh, is that VX? Where's the detail that was in XP? Well, if I take off the cartoon glasses it looks alright. Of course, I am not using VX, yet, but I am not sure that house at the upper right is supposed to be a house.
List some (Not all) of your favorite PS1 games
So no Final Fantasy, Silent Hill, Resident Evil, Metal Gear Solid. Nothing from Square, Capcom or Konami? Or even *gasp*Namco?!*gasp
I never touched ANY Final Fantasy game in my life. I was never interested in it. I don't consider Namco Museum to count as it contained games that were not released on the PS1. I Borrowed Megaman 8, X4, X5, X6. But never was interested enough to buy them since to me then screamed "Recycle". I did have Legends 1 and 2, but traded them in for Spyro 2 and Rayman 2 around when they came out at their expected times. I kept hearing Silent Hill was horrible, and I didn't think that blocky characters could be scary after looking at screens.
I considered Metal Gear Solid to be overrated like that Zelda game on the N64, so like the latter, I borrowed it and never finished it. In the meantime, I pretty much forgot those games.
I messed with Atari, EA, Naughty Dogg, Funcom, Ubisoft, Crystal Dynamics, Insomniac, Fox, Activision, I think NICK, Take2, Interplay, Psygnosi, Neversoft, and like 20+ others I can't think of off the top of my head.

You know what I found funny? I have like 40+ or so PS1 games, and not one of them is from a japanese developer. I mean, it may not be that strange but I find it interesting to miss those "Critically acclaimed" Japanese games for the system. So far, the only non U.S. games I have are from companies Ubisoft and Funcom.
Hip/Trip Hop based soundtrack for an RPG. COME ON!!

If I may make a suggestion. I have been on many forums before and even though you closed many forums and fused them, you can still seperate them. How about Sub-Forums? That way, when someone clicks on general, Video games, Art, etc. will be little forums shown up top. I believe this will solve everyones worries.
NGP/PSP2
Would at least be nice if there was some sort of system to exchange your PSP UMD's for the downloadable versions, just so you don't have to buy the same games again.
You must really think Sony cares about UMDS to say that. I can guaranteed there will not be downloadable copies for most games. At least not at first. This is assuming they would even think of doing it anyway.
