Same shit I did. :P
Also are you referring to the ghost gym leader's Gengar? Damn... Now I wish I trained my zubat.
I've already beaten Chuck at this point, the battle wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. I've also disbanded Team Rocked at the radio tower... God they suck. :P

comment=25280comment=25147...Seriously? They're Earthbound edits.
That doesn't look like earthbound at all.
Wow, just... Wow. I'm not even going to go out of my way to describe what a fucking idiot you are... Oh wait, I just did.
Sorry.

Seriously, dude. Did you read any of the posts after that?
Applying Auteur Theory to Amateur Games (Part I)
comment=25366
Don't be prejudiced, his games are actually better than what you can gather from the screenshots, it's just that he has been unjustifiably labelled by the community and fallen into infamy. Try them, you might be surprised. I know I did and I'm quite fond of his games.
Are you serious? I played Doom 2 and I can't get that anime cut scene where a naked woman is being graphically sacrificed to Satan out of my head. The bedtime story series was also, in a slightly humorous way, mind-numbing... With that said it still doesn't exclude him from being considered 'auteur'.
2D or 3D?
I like both. They both have their own distinctive feel. 3D games tend to give a more more worldly experience, and I feel more compelled to explore the level in a three-dimensional space. 2D games tend to feel very linear, but they are very concise. I've also found the most beauty and large amount of detail from playing 2D games. Back in the late 90's, 2D games often looked much more detailed and the forms more fully realized then the 3D games, but now it's gotten much better.
Spambots now commenting on game pages

Oh god bots these days. By the way, is catchaserguns a bot, too?
Nah he's just a douche. I even talked to him to ask him to quit spamming the game page, to which he responds that he is disappointed that so many promising projects get abandoned, because that's an excuse to necro dead crap. :/

Slimy the Sahagin Review
Thanks for the review. I was honestly expecting you to give it a lower score. O_o
You made a lot of good points about this game. Looking back at it, what really brought it down was that the battles were not well-balanced, the character's personalities could have used expansion and overall issues with game design. Heck, I even took the liberty to edit the Ghost enemies before putting this up on the site, because they could kill you in two hits at the beginning of the game.

Slimy the Sahagin
The alpha was made for me to test out some possible features for the remake, so it's pretty much a test project. I didn't initially intend for anyone to see it, as a result, but since I wanted some opinions on whether this game would be a good idea for me to make I released it along with the original.
I wasn't that good of an artist at the time I made the battlers (they are about 2-3 years old), so I can understand why you felt that they looked "crazed".
After replaying that special stage, I agree that the speed is way too fast, and that the details of the stage could be elaborated aside from "Get the blue spheres!"
As for the island, I had an idea of placing a picture of a landscape with mode7. It's an example of how I kind of play around to eventually get something that works.
I'll be checking out the review soon.
