You guys ok with the Corona Virus/covid19?

People should hear what Bernie Sanders has to say about this crisis.
He talks about plans that could help Americans and also he warns us that Republicans are not doing enough right now. Later on he also has a guest speaker talk about how the crisis is effecting restaurant workers in America who were already in trouble due to the fact that our country allows companies to pay restaurant workers practically nothing.
The following video is much shorter than it appears. It was a live stream so you can skip a lot of the fluff like the music sections.

You guys ok with the Corona Virus/covid19?

I should note that none of us Americans have received a relief check from the government yet. This is all just proposals and we probably won't get $4000 it might be as low as $1000. Actually its very possible that my country's congress wont send any money to the people because most of our politicians are f*cking idiots. But we'll see what happens.

Sorry to hear about your situation in Brazil it sounds really bad. I hope Brazil can get a new President. I keep hearing about him letting the rainforest get destroyed and now it seems he's messing up this virus situation as well.

You guys ok with the Corona Virus/covid19?

Well most of Massachusetts's cases of Corono I believe are in Boston. So far my city has no reports of Corono but non essential stores are being closed from what I understand.
A Massachusetts Congressman is proposing giving thousands of dollars to individual Americans in response to the corona virus pandemic. Rep. Joe Kennedy said at a news conference that the government should give $4,000 immediately to adults who make under $100,000 a year.

FF7 remake. It's a thing.

My buddy V just played the Demo. He's not really into the actiony gameplay.
I haven't tried it but I'd like to hear what you all think of it.

Peddler

Looks interesting.

Consoles & Favourite Games

Arcade: Capcom VS SNK 2
Most of these I played primarily on Dreamcast but they were also technically Arcade games first.
Honorable Mentions: Street Fighter 3 Third Strike, Marvel VS Capcom 2

PC: Warcraft 3
I never played the MMO World of Warcraft and never will but Warcraft 3 was fun.
Honorable Mentions: Doom

Atari: Centipede
I used to play these old games on an old computer. Never owned an Atari but I played some of its games.
Honorable Mentions: Snake

NES: Kirby's Adventure
First videogame I ever beat. Still fun too I replayed it a few years ago.
Honorable Mentions: Final Fantasy 3, Zelda 1, Kickle Cubicle

Game Boy: Pokemon Blue/Yellow
Psyduck is the best.
Honorable Mentions: Zelda Link's Awakening, Mario Land

SNES: Final Fantasy 4
In terms of sheer gameplay I would pick Super Metroid but Final Fantasy 4's epic journey and story is one of the most memorable things in my life. I love FF4.
Honorable Mentions: Super Metroid, Zelda LTTP, Megaman X, Chrono Trigger, Illusion of Gaia, Secret of Mana, Act Raiser

Game Boy Advance: Metroid Zero Mission
Its not as good as Super Metroid but basically nothing on GBA is as good as Super Nintendo games.
Honorable Mentions: Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow, Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga, The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap

N64: Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask.
The greatest Zelda. Most people find the game creepy but I'm more drawn in by the mystique of it all.
Honorable Mentions: Ocarina of Time, Mario 64, Conker's Bad Fur Day

DS: The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass
Throughly enjoyed Phantom Hourglass and its refreshing touch controls and fantastic world map which you could sail around and find islands but its important to note that I hate Spirit Tracks because of the damn flute that doesn't work and the linear map.
Honorable Mentions: Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow, Metroid Hunters, Final Fantasy 4 (the remake)

Gamecube: Smash Bros Melee
Played it with my friends every Thursday after school.
Honorable Mentions: Resident Evil 4, Zelda Wind Waker, Twilight Princess, Metroid Prime

Very fun and vibrant world. A great new franchise for Nintendo that I hope the company continues to develop.

Wii: Xenoblade Chronicles
Wii had a lot of interesting games but Xenoblade was breath taking with its giant worlds to explore and its amazing story.

WiiU: Breath of Wild
A great new twist on the Zelda formula.
Honorable Mentions: Xenoblade Chronicles X, Mario Maker, Shovel Knight

Switch: Smash Bros Ultimate

Honorable Mentions: Mario Maker 2

Sega Master System: Phantasy Star 1
Possibly the only Master System game I played. Very interesting but it has confusing dungeons.

Sega Genesis: Phantasy Star 4
One of the best 16bit RPGs I've played. They really need to make another story driven Phantasy Star like this instead of just online games.
Honorable Mentions: Sonic 2 - 3 - Knuckles, Beyond Oasis, Castlevania Bloodlines

Sega Saturn: Shining Wisdom
Because we never got a memory card I never got to beat this game but I loved playing this Zelda like game and I would replay it many times to try to get as far as I could in one day.

Funkiest game you will ever play. I've replayed it many times and its the main reason I still keep the Dreamcast plugged in.

Honorable Mentions: Pikachu, Yoda

Smash Bros 5th Fighter

I don't care much for another Fire Emblem character but I'm glad its not one of the lame choices that many people are constantly asking for. Like I'll try to be happy for fans if they do get one of their favorites in there but I'm tired of people all just asking for the same characters over and over again.
Sorry if that's mean but some of the most popular picks right now are just awful in my opinion. But moreso I'm just annoyed by seeing videos where people pick the same characters everyone else chooses. For the love of pancakes be original with your choices for Smash.

Hand-holding in games

I think the vast majority of gamers need handholding and lots of instructions. I've lost faith in most gamers ability to figure things out on their own. Many people complain about hand holding, I certainly don't like it but I've seen enough people fumble when they don't have enough help to determine that tons of hints are needed. If possible most of these hints and helpful stuff should be optional that way both types of players can be happy but yeah having seen how some new Zelda games straight up put in built in walkthroughs in the game, I think its worth adding as much optional help to the player as you can otherwise they will get frustrated and quit. I once heard that the vast majority of people don't even finish games that they play these days. No one has any patience anymore so add whatever you can to encourage the player to continue. One can argue that sufficient gameplay or visual clues should be enough to guide players to a solution without the player realizing that they are being guided and that sort of game design should be done but because so many people just can't pick up on any clue, you might as well also have an optional guide that just spells out everything to them.

EDIT: Try to design your game in a clear way that the player won't need additional help but still provide said additional help as an option.

Mario Art Videos - Adding Diversity to Mario

Mario is the face of video games. In my latest videos I made artwork to help promote the idea of diversity in the Mario series. The subjects of these first two videos are Princess Daisy and Il Piantissimo. Each video's art is inspired by world cultures. I intend to make atleast one more in this series too. Hope you enjoy.

What if Pokemon types were not based on Elements.

Well it could inspire new kinds of abilities for example. That's one way in which it can be more than just a skin deep change but you have a good point and that's a really neat idea you have about changing types based on how you feel. It could certainly work it would make fights be sorta similar to Magus's battle in Chrono Trigger (because Magus could change what his weakness was) So that could make fights very dynamic both fighters can change types on the fly depending on how they react and feel after their actions and the actions of others. Also types would be changeable outside of battle with stuff like how you treat your monster and things like that.
