RIXEL96'S PROFILE

My aim is fame!

Yo! I am Rixel. I am into manga, hardcore metal music, ganja, role playing, and action RPG video games! I am a pretty decent writer with a few book ideas and I've always wanted to put "game designer" under my belt. I am currently working on a project set in my world "Legends", the mini title of the game is L:BoW and I plan to use VX Ace to make it. I also have a book-in-the-making also set in my "Legends" world called Legends: The Story of Jack Evans located on my deviantArt account which you can find a link to bellow!
My forte is Action, Adventure, Horror, Tragedy, Psychological, and I'm not to shabby at romance. I own my own role playing chat room if any of you might be interested: http://chat.deviantart.com/chat/LegendsofRPs
I also am not to bad at sprite making though I am more of an editor of them (not just recoloring cus that'd be lame, I can edit say a jacket from closed to open) and I am a fast learner.
Feel free to message me if you would like to hook up for a project!
I am currently looking for a mapper!!

I've gotta say I'm really looking forward to this, the realistic features included I feel is going to break the RPG standard in so many ways. And more than that, the dark atmosphere, I'm gonna have to get this.

Two things I'd like to say: How about random encounters? This game will be my new favorite if there aren't any and you can see the enemies you're gonna fight on screen before getting into battle. I hate random encounters!
Second, what about armor? Does that give you a GP that will never go away-- but also cannot be used for attacks? I guess this is turning into more of a suggestion than a question, here's my thought; A person's defense, or, Guard is increased by equipping armor. Unless it breaks (not saying to incorporate breaking armor) it is always there to raise defense.
So here's how I'm thinking this would work in this game: Part of the bar at the end of it is Yellow to signify Armor, the Armor cannot be used to do attacks that cost GP, all it acts is as a defense against attacks. If an attack is higher than the Armor it will bleed through into the HP, if it is not then it acts as a perfect defense against it (or maybe one or two point can still bleed through, your call.) This is merely a suggestion, feel free to write me off as an excited new fan because that's just what I am and I look forward to this game with or without my suggestion-- and that's all it is, a suggestion.

In Search of Immortality

I plan to do a Let's Play and Video Review of this game!
I'll post the link here later, probably next week.
If the creators are interested, I'd love to do an interview!

Pokémon: Uncensored Edition

Haha, this sounds pretty interesting. Subbed!!

In Search of Immortality

Not gonna lie, this is my favorite RM game, and I mean that. (and I've play through The Way, Alter A.I.L.A Genesis (well haven't beat that one yet :P) SU, and some of the other classics and newer ones.) This was amazing! Sent a review in :D (and I also plan to check out some of the creator's of this' games)

Kryberia - Part 1

So I noticed that SegNin's link to a RMXP RTP download gives a 404 Error (at least to me) so I thought I would give a link to RMVXAce, RMVX, and RMXP RTP downloads. Just go to the RMXP tab and download it: http://www.rpgmakerweb.com/download/run-time-package
plus this one is english XD

You Are Not The Hero!

The name of this caught my eye. I somewhat expected some sort of super happy-go-lucky hero slowly become an anti-hero and was a tad disappointed to see that not be the case. However I am all the same interested in this and look forward to playing it :D subscribed!

This game's premise is very interesting, but I have to say, the dialogs are way too long.

The dialogues are what make up the story XD (which is the main reason to play this game).

Do you get anything good for beating the wolf meter minigame in the prologue? It seems that the game continues on even if I lose.

Edit: Nevermind, an earlier post said no. Still, it's a pretty fun game so far. Also, is there any way to flee from random encounters?

It's been a while since I've played the demo (only been about a month but my memory is absolutely terrible :P) when in the battle menu screen scroll to see if there are more options that are out of sight, that is all I can really suggest. If you don't see it there it's not possible to flee :P

Lovely. Definitely deserves its 5/5 rating, even if the web version (somehow) lagged constantly on my poor computer. :(

I wonder though, what order did you expect most people to go through the endings?

In the first level, I killed Troy, because, well, he asked me to...but when I played his path it seemed to me that it gave off the impression of being intended for the player's initial choice...? I dunno, it's hard to describe, just a gut feeling. However, I also got a bad end my first run through, so I guess I'm not terribly good at making decisions anyway. :p

And also...

...does Lionel's ending change at all if you haven't done the others first? That was the last one I got, and it seems to directly tie into the true ending path the most.

I also think lionell's story was intended to be the last, though I myself feel that Troy's also could've been the last. The couple's ending seemed like it should've been the first ones to play as their story was kind of to entail you into the plot, or at least to make you like that characters.
Either way, epic game. I wouldn't mind reading up on whatever happens to the girl, does she ever find her mother alive? Or does she constantly get trapped in the loop left to forever chase after her dead mother? Personally I prefer the latter, but that's just me :P

Super Smash Bros. Crusade

This game looks really awesome, subbed! I'll down load it soon.
Also, I was wondering, using Game Maker pro, would you mind comparing it to the lite version? And for someone who is tempted to make a fighting game, would you suggest using the lite version at all?
