You're going commercial? I hope you replace the Lufia II rips you copied then too! I know they aren't exact copies of as the slime, but they are REALLY close for being references. I liked your battlers you had before actually, I'm not sure why you changed them.

Which, adding to that after giving it more thought: I liked them better because I didn't go "hey it's Lufia!" when I saw them (or insert a different game with Lufia). So to change up something to make it look like another game is a bit eehhh worthy. Better go with what you made before than an obvious too-close-reference-to-call.

<Edit: relooked at Lufia sprites and checked them toward yours>

eplipswitch: people have told me the Old (the second boss) is the hardest. So I think you should be good from then on. The only one that might trip you up after that is when the boss gets a first strike and can frazzle your party if you're not prepared and another one where you start with two people and get a third five turns in.

I'll be rooting for you!

Think I'm at the end, back in the castle through the secret, side entrance.

??? The Old is the second boss in the game. It's not the end.

Please consult this: http://starstealingprince.wordpress.com/guides/boss-guides/the-old/ - If that doesn't work, check out the media section. One user LPed the whole game as a guide (not the one with talking) and watch how he defeats the Old and see if that helps. :)

I completed it in February 2012, so it's almost been a year (like just 2 months shy of it?). I love helping people though! I took a lot of time on this game and I want to make sure that it's as good as I can get it. And helping players is what I'm here for! I want to see everyone complete my game if they can.

Aww, you're too sweet, Tau!

They don't have a specific order and I think that's what tripped people up. In any case, I uploaded 2.3 which has the ghost puzzle slightly changed (I moved on of them to be in the main room so you don't have to backtrack back to the room with the phantom for no reason--and I made it so the glowing thing on the floor won't show up unless you've talked to all three of them (it was supposed to be like that, I think I miscounted when first setting it up)).

Anyway, I hope it works out for you!

@Craze: Chaucer is near unreadable if you read the Canterbury Tales in its original form.

But if you do want to do some middle English, you should read Shakespeare. Your text sounds very fake and I think you would confuse players instead of help immerse them in your game's story.

@supergamer: I need to redo that part actually, but there is one more ghost that tells you he's somewhere high up. So there are I think three triggers that when they are all triggered, the ghost will look at you. The one that people miss a lot is the ghost closest to the phantom that attacks you. He'll tell you the little ghost is atop a platform.

When I upload a new version, I'll redo that part a bit. I hadn't realized until later that the cave is pretty confusing and the puzzle doesn't do what I had wanted it to do if you talk to the ghosts in the wrong order.
