More stress should be put on custom graphics
Lawl.
It also sort of suggests that graphics and audio are their own separate, distant entities that couldn't possibly have any bearing of how enjoyable the game is to play.

Well, I' m not going to get het up about this, but I also hate the term gameplay. It sounds like some kind of strange Orwellian term.

Gameplay.
If I was picky on semantics (Which I'm not, really), then I'd say that game mechanics is a much better term to use than GAMEPLAY.

Elaborate Economy System
I sometimes wonder why this hasn't become a mainstay of the RPG genre. It would actually make weapons, gold and locations more useful than they are in say, Dragon Quest.
Rock Opera Competition?
Looking for RM buddy
PM me too, Airemix. I've got an interesting project and I could do with some support =X
I'll offer mine too, of course.

IG Maker has been released! (English Action Game Maker)

For those saying RGSS and GameMaker (etc.) do more, I think you're missing the point. This program is clearly aimed at those people who don't want to learn to code (which, to my knowledge, most other game-making programs require you to at some level). Kinda like the earlier RPGMakers, this looks like a point-and-click program suited to those who have the creative talents to make a game but not the computational talents.
.
But what I'm worried about is if the standard of games that IG Maker can create is low. No matter how creative you are, there's no point in using IGM if the platformer-engine is stiff and horrible. RPG Maker VX is great because if your design skills are good enough, you can make SNES RPG quality games.
Enterbrain -- what's so difficult about taking the RPG Maker interface and applying it to action games? Sheesh.
