Rome: Total War (Campaign Updates 2)

No reason to make a new topic to what is a reply to an existing one.

I got banned from a forum today for saying, "Okay, I'll follow the forum rules."

Makes sense, since if you had to say that in the first place you didn't follow them before that statement, so deserved a ban.

RMNMeet 2020

I'm inclined to delay it to 2021 or... some time. Mostly because I know I'd probably have to fly to central europe and I have a feeling that if traveling by plane was awful in the post-9/11 world. It'll just be even worse after this :D

Of course I could make a journey of it and go by train from Sweden or something, but that's also something that might fit 2021 better.

And in 2021 we could also have the meetup in New Zealand :P

New RPG Maker incoming?

The new RPG Maker will be a reboot based on the service model, where it will only be called "RPG Maker". It will be subscription-based and have a built-in asset store and the only way to import stuff into the maker is by going through said asset store.

Rome: Total War

Total War is not known for its brilliant AI. I seem to recall in ages back discussions about how bad the campaign AI was. Of course this is usually what all game discussions devolve into eventually. But I seem to recall Total War always being brought up as a shining example of "at least it's not as bad as Total War".

Rome was also the first one to use the full map thingie. In the past it was always singular territories. So I can also imagine the AI couldn't take full advantage of that (not that I know if it still can, the most recent Total War I've played is Warhammer and in that one all it does is create death stacks. Which I guess is the opposite problem of what it used to be when the AI would just have a bunch of one-unit armies running around the map)

Probably Should Have Picked a Different Word

You already posted this topic, why not make this extended thing a reply (or edit?) instead.

Is Trump even Human?

I mean it's understandable that not everyone gets that the US is a hard two-party system where there's no room for third or fourth or fifth candidates. The whole process is so convoluted and complicated.

Trump is in the top 2 candidates only because there can be only two candidates.

Is Trump even Human?

Biden is a senile old coot who doesn't know where he is at any given point. He's literally being wheeled out by his handlers, given a few lines, and even then he botches them. It was funny a few months ago when his faux pas were validating people's suspicions, but now it's sad that an old man in his twilight years is being mistreated this way,

I mean. These sentences here could also be talking about Trump :D

Though I guess it's easier to run a country with a slightly docile senile guy than a senile guy who is prone to tweeting random conspiracies for days. So Biden is the right senile guy for the "tjänstemannavälde" to set a country back on track.

(I googled and apparently there's no quickly findable and easy-to-understand word to translate "tjänstemannavälde" into English)
