This should be interesting. Every halloween I say i'm going to make a halloween themed game and never do, so this shall be a fun experience to try and make a game for this. :)

I remember I was having a lot of trouble getting it to work when I was first working on it, I couldn't completely get it the way I wanted with looping events or labels (though I know I had to have been doing something wrong) so I just used parallel process events.

Are you meaning like how to get it where you hold one key down and use another key to attack? Like one to hold the flamethrower and another to use it? or where it just keeps shooting fire as long as the one key is held?
I have a scrap system laying around that I was gonna use for a game a long time ago, I have it set up where you hold shift and you go to firing mode and the character holds out his gun, then if you press enter he will shoot, but if you let go of the shift key then he drops out of firing mode.
If thats what you were looking for, I could post the code or send you the scrap game or something if you want.

What is a good video recording program to use? If you know by chance. I've never tried making a video of any of my games before, but I would like to make one for the battle system and maybe for a trailer..

Thank you! Also fixed the caps on the I, thanks for pointing that out. :) I'm definitely going to need someone to check the grammar on the game before I release it, lol. I seem to slip on a lot of things like this.
