A lot of people already know this, but the Mayans made a prediction that on December 12, 2012, the world would end. The scientific basis behind this is that on that day, the earth completes a wobble on it's axis, and will be in allignment with the Sun and the center of the Milky Way galaxy. My friend started talking about it recently, and I'd liek to hear people's opinions on the subject.

What, if anything, will happen on December 12, 2012?

granted - unfortuanately it involves radioactive materials, a weapons grade laser, and a spoon.
