I first got interested in RPG Maker after watching X-Play do a review of RPG Maker for the Play Station. Years later I found RPG Maker VX Ace and decided to buy it. My first RPG Maker game, Dragon Lancer, was approved by Deckiller and became available to download on January 15, 2013.

I'm really getting an EA vibe from this.
Release the same thing over and over again.
Change some features, remove some others, rinse and repeat every couple of years.
I hope they make me eat my words, but I doubt they will.

[RMVX ACE] Looking to hire a scripter for RPG MAKER VX ACE GAME.
You should make a list of things you want your game to be able to do.
Then a person who can script will know if they can do it.
For example, I want a side view battle system with characters on the right, and enemies on the left. And when its a character turn, I want a circle menu system similar to Grandia.

I feel like this is just going to be a small upgrade or fix to MVs problems.
I'm not expecting much....
What I would want?
+Unlimited mapping layers.
+Being able to place tiles off grid.
+Being able to make brushes or patterns like Gimp.
+Being able to import UI like VN Maker + Hotspots.
+Multiple RPG genre support, like tactics or real time RPGs.

I almost thought about buying a PS4 to play this and other exclusives.
The physical version of the game in my region, while having Japanese or English voices, has Chinese subtitles only. So, I would have to order the game to get the Japanese / English version from Hong Kong. (There should be an option to download subtitles form the store if you bought a physical copy. This is a digital age we live in.)
I'll probably just wait for it to be released on PC now and hope emulation technology gets better for the PS 4.
