SUNFLOWERGAMES'S PROFILE
I first got interested in RPG Maker after watching X-Play do a review of RPG Maker for the Play Station. Years later I found RPG Maker VX Ace and decided to buy it. My first RPG Maker game, Dragon Lancer, was approved by Deckiller and became available to download on January 15, 2013.

[Poll] Super Nintendo Vs. Sega Genesis
Theis series would have been better without
Choose one video game, movie, and / or book in a series that didn't really need to exist.
Video Game: The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask
-Using the same engine as Ocarina of Time this game focuses on the exploits of Child Link as he collects masks (one of the worst mechanics ever) and goes through the same 3 day cycle over and over again (and loses all his progress.)
Movie: The Hobbit (All 3 of them)
-They didn't need to make 3. Peter Jackson is a cash cow.
Book: Terry Goodkind's "The Pillar's of Creation."
-A book that doesn't even focus on the main character and is never really talked about in future books. Way to go. (Richard even makes a reference to something he did, which I would have rather read about.)
PS - Why can't you edit the topic title?
Script for Conditional Branch
I have a puzzle game where I have moving blocks. Player pushes block and it goes in one direction. When the player pushes the block it subtracts a variable and turns on a self switch. In essence you need to push all the blocks to complete the puzzle. Unfortunately you can get the variable from pushing the block against a wall or another block.
What I think I need! A condition branch that checks the event and its location.
I'm no scripter, but something like $game_event_6 = $game_map_id (I'm not too sure how to write this as you can see. 6 is the event number and if its equal to a certain map id the player won't get the chip. ie. the location of the events starting place.)
The second page is the same with the exception of the last three lines.
I want to put a conditional branch so that those three thing won't happen unless the map location of the event is different.
Old Scary Movies
Remember when you were a kid all the scary movies you watched. They may have been scary back then, but when I watch some of these now I just can't help but laugh at the ridiculousness of them. Is this a result of me getting older or from scary movies being much different than they used to be.
Here is an old classic you may remember.
Using variables for X and Y?
I want an event (and sometimes multiple) where the player dies when he touches a moving monster (But I don't want this triggered by player touch or event touch.) I have never attempted to do this before, but I tried my best to emulate what I think the event pages should look like. Here is what I managed to do, but doesn't work.
Help with tiles - making transparent backgrounds
I really got into the idea of making a chips game and recently just
finished acquiring the tile sets I'll need by taking screen shots
and resizing them. But I'm not very good at using image editing software.
I was wondering if someone could make some of the backgrounds of these transparent.
Here is the set. Below it I will tell you which one I need done.
Gate, Chip, all keys, all shoes, monsters, chip character.
(The spaceship, bug, and tank only need to be done once
since they are all the same image rotated.)
Chips Challenge
Chips Challenge. This game brings back a lot of found memories. I never owned it, but every time I visited someone who had this game I could play it non stop forever. I remember it taking me forever to finish level 4... I don't know if I actually ever completed all the levels in this game. It seemed to go on forever.
Anybody remember this game? In case you forgot here is a short video.
[Poll] Which is hotter? (Microwave Edition)
So let me explain the situation. You put food in the Microwave for 40 secs.
But lets say you put it in for exactly 40 secs vs. to 10 mins (but only let it stay in the microwave for 40 sec. ie. take it out at 9 min and 20 sec.)
Will putting it in microwave for the same amount of time but at 10 min make it hotter? Does the Microwave say to itself this meal is 10 mins long so I'm really going to work hard. So the 40 secs at of the 10 mins is actually hotter than putting it in for exactly 40 secs.
Yes, I spend my spare time thinking about things like this.
