A player of almost every Rpgmaker2000/2003 game ever made (in english, italian, spanish, japanese, russian and german), fond of drawing (from portraits to pixel art), writing, rpgs (tabletop, crpg and jrpg) and fantasy addict (including Final fantasy, of course).
Review Vote Guidelines:
1/1.5 - so horribile I will not mention it. No one would like this trash.
2/2.5 - bad but with some good qualities or good
but with many bad flaws. Could have been worse and some people may like it anyway.
3/3.5 - from decent to good games. This is what I normally expect: entertainment. Some people may like it more, others less but it's ok!
4/4.5 - exceeded my expectations. These are must play for everyone.

If I am correct there are EIGHT spin-offs of the series, and this is only the second. By the way I hope the Towelket Kemono, one of the last episodes of the series will be released someday too!

Deer, You Are Being Hunted Review

When choosing game tags, "Shooter" seemed appropriate because the game has shooting but with a grain of dark humor as the player is shot at ;-).
Running depletes a hidden stamina counter. Eating refills some stamina. You also regain stamina over time. The regeneration rate is the best while you stand and is slow while you walk. But if you get injured the rate become slow while standing and you no longer regenerate stamina while walking. The intention is to make the player feel like a wounded animal.
Map size is the result of a delicate trade off between what the injured and uninjured deer can traverse. It probably feels a bit too small if you never get injured but a bigger map would become tedious if you get injured early. I hope I got the size right between the uninjured and early injured situations.
I'm surprised you didn't rate the game.

Anyway... uhm I could have rated it but it's hard since this kind of game is pretty short (anyway maby sgort games like Pacman and Frogger are short, so that's ok) and I was not sure, I was orientated about something in between 3 and 3.5 but... I could not decide!

Yep! I agree, I wanted more cat under the spotlight! :D Anyway it was a good animal fantasy romp. I was surprised of the two endings!
