THERPGMAKERADDICT'S PROFILE

A player of almost every Rpgmaker2000/2003 game ever made (in english, italian, spanish, japanese, russian and german), fond of drawing (from portraits to pixel art), writing, rpgs (tabletop, crpg and jrpg) and fantasy addict (including Final fantasy, of course).

Review Vote Guidelines:
1/1.5 - so horribile I will not mention it. No one would like this trash.
2/2.5 - bad but with some good qualities or good
but with many bad flaws. Could have been worse and some people may like it anyway.
3/3.5 - from decent to good games. This is what I normally expect: entertainment. Some people may like it more, others less but it's ok!
4/4.5 - exceeded my expectations. These are must play for everyone.
5 - Rpgmaker Nirvana

*NOTE*: event games/jam submissions and other games that were developed in a very short time or with other restrictions get a rating bonus (usually +0,5), you are warned!

August and the Abyss Review

It seems a bit weird that you didn't mention Subzero_Dragon during this review considering she developed the first half of this game considering it was part of the Swap in the Middle with You event held back in 2016.

did I? Wops seems I forgot... damn! Corrected! Thanks

Raciela Review

Great review! I agree, Raciela is indeed a really cool game even if I fear that there won't be more chapters, sadly!

Btw play A Story of Innocence by the same author, it's really good too (also longer, if I remind correctly)!

Shadow's Penance

Cool! I liked a lot the first Penance! Really curious about this remake...

Yeah, I think it's the only game of ours that got that much attention. It's a shame coz other games like Kaiju and Errevale Fall which you mentioned took a lot more effort and skill from us to make. Hopefully one day our more polished games get that kind of attention as well!

I know. Btw Errevale Fall is still one of the first games, so it's ok, but Kaiju ... well if I had to chose one game that's really MY FAVOURITE! Anyway I know that maybe rpgmaker horror games are a thing (like to fantasy jrpgs but those are for people that have lots of time to waste playing games lol), so many people like those.

Whoa! I didn't expect to get a review from you for this game.
I thought you wouldn't review this game since I read from somewhere that you dislike horror game.

Anyway, thanks for the review!

Uhm well I reviewed many horror games while aren't my favourites I actually liked some of them. The genre I like less is probably visual novels...

This game feels really really old to me since it was the first game I worked on with CrazyBabi. Thanks for playing and making a review of it! Glad you like it! Though in my opinion now this game is way behind in terms of polish and design compared to our more recent games, or even the individual ones. I'm still surprised that people come across this game again every now and then and play it lol

Oh yesh, of course I took in account that... still it was an event game so despite its limitations I appreciate the efforts and the final result. Uhm it's a game that I was played on youtube more than others I see! And i missed it so far...

Looks like this site could be deleted....every download-link is dead.
Only good that I have this game since 2013 ;-)

Nah, these are old links (looks like that the link to Gamejolt here is outdated but the game is still available on that site), they could technically be updated.
Like I wrote in the review, the game can be still downloaded by several sources:

Thank you for your extended review of our video game!We are very glad that this project caused positive emotions and brought you pleasure. We tried to make the game as interesting and exciting as possible for our players. We focused on creating smooth learning gameplay, interesting characters and emotional depth of the story, so that every player can be fully immersed in our game universe.

Oh it's pretty cool, maybe my favourite segment was the part with the veterinary... the one with the dog was probably the scariest part, ehehe.

I, as a game designer and translator of the project, apologize for the rawness of the English translation. For example, in Jeffrey's case, when Chris calls him, he calls him "отрубленный" (which was mistranslated as "severed"). Which can be translated into English as "collapsed".

Oh don't worry I am not a native english speaker so I cannot really judge the translation and how good it is... well surely I can understand english more than russian (despite that I played the rm2k3 classic Warrior Saga, but I think I understood half of the story! LOL) still I

Oh sure, the fact that's also playable online it's a big plus, I think! Looking forward what comes next!

The Lonely League is the game of the year

Congrats! Absolutely deserved, this game was fun and really ingenious, never repetitive, plus I loved the graphics (I've a couple of rpgmaker games I like that use battlers edited from KoF and SF sprites) and the story went in a direction I didn't expect at all.
Excellent... now I wait for the next game! :D

Thanks for the review, Addict! Glad you enjoyed my little shitpost game! XD

Yay it was FUNNN! I liked especially the "Vampire Ending"!

Wumbo Where's My Milk?! Review

Nice! That's in fact an unusual visual novel, but it's still not stomething really bizarre. I remember playing a sort of short visual novel (it was freeware or shareware) about a superheroine that had to defeat bad guys (starting from a robber and ending the game battling a sort of giant alien dragon) with a very simple turn battle system with selectable powers (even if you had to follow a precise order, first the weak enemies to level up, and later the stronger ones. And never attack the "not-Superman" that was totally like Superman and could destroy in one round but he was a good guy!) but it was lots of years ago, pity I cannot remember the title!

Ahemmmm! It was good, I'm one of these players who like these kind of games, cool idea!
