THERPGMAKERADDICT'S PROFILE

A player of almost every Rpgmaker2000/2003 game ever made (in english, italian, spanish, japanese, russian and german), fond of drawing (from portraits to pixel art), writing, rpgs (tabletop, crpg and jrpg) and fantasy addict (including Final fantasy, of course).

Review Vote Guidelines:
1/1.5 - so horribile I will not mention it. No one would like this trash.
2/2.5 - bad but with some good qualities or good
but with many bad flaws. Could have been worse and some people may like it anyway.
3/3.5 - from decent to good games. This is what I normally expect: entertainment. Some people may like it more, others less but it's ok!
4/4.5 - exceeded my expectations. These are must play for everyone.
5 - Rpgmaker Nirvana

*NOTE*: event games/jam submissions and other games that were developed in a very short time or with other restrictions get a rating bonus (usually +0,5), you are warned!

Forsaken Isle Review

Heh. We all had to start somewhere, no? There is good reason I stopped RPG Making for a while after this one... and then had Tawny, Zeke and Carol star in a sequel. One of these days, I really do wanna make a third game starring them.

Thanks for giving this one a look. :)

Yes, played and reviewed also the sequel... far better indeed!
Good job here!

Cool! From the aestetic, protagonist and setting this game reminds o me of "The Blade".

PLUS the horror aspect and I'm really curious about that!

The Gift Review

I suppose it's nice to know this game is beatable, but despite spending over 60 minutes on this game. I've never managed to get past the starting town since I can never find the second piece of wood or the stone so the village chief can craft my character some new drummer sticks.

Really? I do not remember I'm sure it took some effort in my search, but I was able to do that... I should replay it.

Under the Hunter's Moon Review

What was your opinion on the boss fight btw? Do you think it was designed well? How do you think it was difficulty-wise? Too hard or just right?

Not bad and not too difficult (anyway free saving is helpful!) but these hyperfast werewolves that took two arrows to be dispatched were annoying since the arena is small and they run like hell! Otherwise not too difficult... the castle area (left sidi in particular) was difficult too.

I also never used exp items or those consumables except for the healing potions

Under the Hunter's Moon Review

heya!

Dunno 2-3 times I had to shoot in melee and I had one enemy in front of me but it did not work... weird! I have to test that again.

Yep I knew that the outdoor areas were edited, they're really nice, while charsets and facesets are classic.

Uhm yes, I consider the respawn part fixed since in End of Winter I did not recall this problem so it's an easy fix and I admit I did not consider it in my rating... of course!

I suppose I might take a look at the version 2.5 build later. After all, it might contain fixes to the mapping error and bug/glitch I found in the version set to be the main download.

Yes anyway I suggest you to play the first before if you didnt (I saw no review) because the story will make much more sense and there are some references.

Rainbow Vale Review

Oh, hey, thanks again for playing this mess of a game, and another review! If there is one point of correction, it's that the characters were made by unity, not Ocean. XD

*Edit: Also, while most of the game's assets were absolutely RTP (Tsukihime's Resource Checker became a staple script in my later Ace games), the music was from Newgrounds.

WOPS! WAIT! What I was thinking? Ahahahah how silly I am! FIXED of course...
THANKS very much!

Hey, thanks for reporting these errors! I looked into it and I figured out why this happens. I'll give an update when it's fixed.
oh man, thank you very much, the game is now really not black anymore, if there is another error, I will report it to you

Cool! Will soon try to start a review then
