This is the first I've heard of this (that I know of), but it's already cancelled. Why?

I might pick it back up again in the future, but I'm trying to finish my other project first. Probably should leave it on hiatus, vs cancelled, but I won't be working on it for quite some time.

A few little lore quibbles but I'm glad you enjoyed this game. PHM is still my favorite RPG Maker game to this day. Hope you enjoy the rest of Kelarly's collection!

These are just a couple. There have been more.


It seems to be a bug since the stats don't actually decrease. I've checked.

Yeah, pretty much :)
The original design dates back to 2017 where it was much more akin to a true CCG (like MTG) but the Deckbuilding style really fit an RPG more, thus the switch.

As someone who is trying to make a Links Awakening inspired game (visually anyway) themself I am looking forward to seeing how this looks in motion. Im particularly looking forward to seeing how you handled the screen boarder and map transitions.


We've got a parallel process handling all the transitions, so it's working really smooth. We aren't implementing the classic "scrolling map" transitions however.

The process continually checks to see if you're in the correct Region, X/Y coordinate, and if you're facing the edge, allowing you to walk around map edges.

I enjoy the look of this project. I think it would look more consistent if you kept the HUD during battles too.


Not even sure the HUD's going to make it into the game. Battles unfortunately don't let me easily add the HUD, but I'm definitely game to try.
