I've been at making games for RPG Maker for almost 20 years! No, they're not ALL Dragon Kingdoms games, just most of 'em.

VideoWizard, your map suffers from tilevomit. Lower the amount of stuff you spray everywhere and try to organize it somehow. Also, don't use autotiles that don't match the nearby tiles like that (the grass on dirt). =x
Is this any better? Also, turns out the holding shift key trick works in RMVX, too!

Dark effect
Did we all forget the first DQ had lighting effects (well, sort of)? Not sure of the NES limitations, but I think this could've been done by DQ4.
Torches
I think a less intense version of this was used in DQ6 or 7.
Looks more like DQ5 than DQ2.
Looks terrible in this setting.

It's just a little Something I had started some time ago, intended for release in the Summer '08. I didn't get around to releasing it then (obviously), but I did make some changes in dialogue from the RM2k version.

No, this isn't a charset mismatch. He IS a giant!
A rather nice place, if I say so myself.
There couldn't be any monsters around here, could there?
Oh, wait. This is an RPG, after all. There MUST be monsters somewhere!
And as for the dragons, they appear later in the game than this version goes to (not that much later, though).

Dragon Kingdoms V
Dragon Kingdoms V was released five years ago this week, and I've just recently gotten around to making the sixth installment in the series. I'm trying to avoid it becoming a cookie cutter series.

...I'll probably be 39 years old, in the working world, possibly as a store manager, and work on Dragon Kingdoms VIII on RPG Maker 2019, a program that allows you to make PS2 quality RPGs on the PC... so basically Enterbrain is just going to give us RPG Maker 3/6 again.

I'm going to Release Something that I recently found. I guess pretty soon, every single one of my games will be on RMN.

I know this game is an updated version already, but those cliffs are too straight for too long. Don't be afraid to have curves, as Mother Nature hates order.
