I've been at making games for RPG Maker for almost 20 years! No, they're not ALL Dragon Kingdoms games, just most of 'em.

Worldwide economic situation worsening, unemployment rising, desperate measures.
Just remember three things:
1) Do as you're told and don't be afraid to be flexible.
2) Is plastic OK?
3) Would you like fries with that?
Seriously, it's like the Great Depression's little cousin (The Little Depression?) may become a reality. We still have a little bit to go before we're worse than in 1982. As for print media, keep in mind EGM folded. How on God's green earth can the #1 videogaming magazine go under? Also, a key supplier of magazines known as Anderson News (no relation to Kentona) went under in February.
How can this affect the video gaming industry? E.T. for the Atari 2600 did release right about the time unemployment was highest in 1982 (10.8%, we're currently at 8.1% in the USA), hopefully we're not going to have another Video Game Crash.

Dragon Kingdoms: Birth of a Legend
You're either going to have to live with it or play Final Fantasy emo story #785. For I got rejected today for any art help. This place is becoming as closed-minded as you know where.
I have procured this vaguely intriguing graph
There are two reasons for that happening on the graph, WIP.
1) February is counting 2 or 3 less days than the other months.
2) Demondestiny stopped posting as much and thus less visits.
I was going to say the Moronic Forum didn't count toward that, but I think it's just the post count that doesn't change.

'Important Discussion' time guys...
The community you originally came from got infamous for net battles, Mog. I don't want the same thing to happen to RPG Maker Network. I just want to know why a community in this day and age didn't have a warning system up and running from day one.
Sometimes topics evolve, which is when we should allow further discussion... and other times they devolve, in which case they should rightly go into the City Dump if no other moderation option is available.

Action Game Maker trial released!
We might as well go back to our RPG Makers and ika and whatnot. For, if history repeats itself, we won't be seeing an official English Action Game Maker until May 2010 at the earliest. RPG Maker XP = July 2004 (Japan), September 2005 elsewhere.
2009 is just becoming a bigger and bigger waste of time each day. At this rate, Stencyl has a better chance of happening.
Artist Offering Pro Bono Work!
author=CAHRULL link=topic=3272.msg64912#msg64912 date=1236225442
Hello all!
The kind of person I'm looking to work with is someone who is:
-Serious about making a legitimate game, whether for free or for profit.
-Someone who thinks outside the box and does not want to create a generic final fantasy-esque kind of game.
-Someone who either is very capable with the game maker they are using, or has a team of people that collectively know what they are doing.
-HOPEFULLY someone who has a history of actually completed games or demos to prove that they are committed to projects.
-Ideally an adventure/RPG sort of game. I could possibly work on a platformer or something but it's not necessarily my 'thing'.
I would also be open to jump onboard for games already mid-progress that would like an entire graphical overhaul from RTP or something of the like. This is entirely pro bono (free) work, I don't expect compensation. If you want to make use of my services drop me a message, or if you have questions feel free to reply to this post. Thanks!
So it is possible to have this done for games already in progress.
Yes, I definitely want to expand past the standard Final Fantasy VII angsty stories. I'm more into Dragon Quest anyway. I've made several games as listed in my sig, and one of them will be an adventure RPG! The art style seems like it would be a good fit.
