Master of the Wind
Hmm...okay, if that's what happening I suspect the entire audio folder is missing. If you downloaded the game, it should be in the rar file as a separate folder. Copy and paste it into the main Master of the Wind folder and you should be good to go.

Star Stealing Prince
I was pretty fond of the early version of this that I played...and it looks like considerable improvements have been made. Looking really forward to the final version!

There's a certain amount of items you have to investigate in that section. One of them hints that something is buried in the dead crops outside the house. That's usually the one that stumps people, but there's also a path located northwest of the house that leads to a grave.
Celebrate RMN4 and Media submissions! Make a trailer!
Sure, why not. I've done a handful of trailers over the years, with this being the most recent one. I make these in RMXP itself , but the timing of the music didn't totally translate once it got uploaded to YouTube. Oh well.
Master of the Wind
The game comes with a script that automatically installs the Anime Ace font that's used in the dialogue. It looks like the error occurred because your computer denied the game that permission? I'd suggest looking for the font on the internet and installing it on your own. Hopefully that helps!

The individual arcs were smaller and more manageable, but yeah combining them into a pacakged collection has ballooned the size. Still, when people have hundreds of GBs worth of hard drive space on their computers, I have a hard time believing it's a huge deal. When I had a slow connection, I used to download stuff and just let the computer run all night.
The homepage is now www.solest.org. Sorry for the confusion. I'll have to remind ArtBane to change that.

Why are a lot of us dicks?
Friggin' Kanye. I hope Christian Bale or Russell Crowe or some other foul-tempered actor wins an Oscar and he tries that shit again and gets his ass beat.
I have to admit, that was a pretty funny response. Still, do you want to be a forum full of Kanye Wests?
You keep mentioning reviews, FG, but that's not what I'm referring to. I'm thinking of forum conversations (usually following an event like Misaos or a new Featured Project) where people who opted not to play the project in question because of a lack of interest make claims that NOBODY should be interested, or god forbid - actually like that project, and if they do, something unseemly or unfair is going on. Still, I think I've made my point.
Also, thanks harmonic. Hopefully people take your comments seriously.

Because this doesn't happen with the Oscars or the BAFTAs or... you don't even need to name an award because this happens whenever anything is successful. The Harry Potter and Twilight franchises seem to polarise opinion quite strongly, yet both are successful. Ke$ha could go die in a fire for all I care, but I can't deny that she's making a lot of money. Halo and Call of Duty... well, you shouldn't have to go far to find people bitching about which of these two is better.
Seriously, people are acting like this sort of stuff only happens in the RM* community. Hell, people are acting as if this only happens on RMN. How fucking silly is that? It clearly happens in all communities centred around any particular art form. If something wins an award or a prize then there are inevitably going to be people who will disagree and they will make their opinions known. That's just how it works; to think otherwise is naive.
You simply cannot please all of the people all of the time, accept that before you even think of submitting anything artistic to anything ever.
EDIT: Oh, I'm sorry, is this post too dickish?
No, you're not being a dick by saying that. But at the Oscars....when someone wins, do the people in the crowd immediately walk on stage and tell the person that they shouldn't have won? If they did, I think the nominees would stop showing up.
But I wasn't referring to negative reviews or people who actually didn't like a game after playing it. Critical reviews (including yours, I might add) led to an extensive revision of our project that has improved it, so I am ultimately glad they were written, even if I was annoyed at the time. Good criticism tends to sink in after a while even if there is intitial disappointment/resistance.
But if you read the post carefully, you would see that my major issue is when people HAVEN'T played the games in question (in many cases, they boast that they haven't because the screenshots weren't pretty enough or something) and still claim that an award was undeserved.
I'm not out to please everyone, but if people act like uninformed arrogant douche bags, this site will lose members. The whole "there will always be criticism/negative comments" answer is a pretty weak response when someone points out a specific bit of douchebaggery which is objectionable for specific reasons. I don't think a suggestion of "try not to talk shit about a game if you haven't played it" is particularly bad or unrealistic advice. If people think it is...well, the thread's question may have been answered.
