WHEELMANZERO'S PROFILE

Just a guy who loves rpg's. Thanks to some serious encouragement from several new friends and the community at large, I was able to complete one of my own. Game making is my favorite hobby, so you can expect more games on the way. Play on fellow gamers, play on!

Boundless Tides

In order to use a spell, you need to equip a book of the same element. For instance, if you want to use fire spells, you'll need to equip a Fire Grimoire. At least I think that's what it was called.

I got you covered. Posting the solution in a spoiler tag to avoid spoilerocity.

Head to the bakery in Vallwin and speak to the girl with Marcus in your party to kick off a sidequest. Complete it to unlock the scenario.

Boundless Tides

Nah, I managed to make it through without Red with a little grinding and strategy, so at least now you know the game is beatable without him. When I finally got a full roster, things got a lot more manageable.

The only complaint I have is that almot all the enemies (especially those on the second island) outsped me, and there was no way to use healing skills outside of battle, which was kind of brutal. I was certain I was going to die against the final boss, but I managed to pull it off somehow around level 20. I'll have more details in my next report. Things ended on a cliffhanger, so I'm interested to see how the story will continue. I'm curious as to where to find Red now though.

Boundless Tides

Fifties?! By the time I faced that boss everyone was around level 20. And I thought I was an over-grinder. I didn't even find Red, so it's no wonder why I was having so much trouble. I'm a terrible beta tester. *sniffle*

Guardian Frontier

Heh heh, for me, finding loopholes and becoming stupidly OP is one of the things I love most in rpg's. I almost feel bad for that poor Onix. There's nothing I like better than feeling powerful in an rpg, but that's just me. From a practical standpoint, it's probably better to keep the game loophole free as you said.

I'm sure something is going to slip through eventually.

Technically, it's possible to exploit the free healing you can get at the Guardian outpost to get unlimited experience grinding on encounters on the world map around Palk. The healing isn't free until you can't afford the inn or healing items though, and the encounter rate and difficulty are low, so it would be very, very slow.

Dude, my Squirtle was a Wartortle before I left Viridian Forest in Pokemon Blue. I can handle slow.

Guardian Frontier

Dangit Desertopa, stop closing loopholes already! How am I supposed to exploit/break the game if you keep doing stuff like this!

Interacting with the barrier surrounding the blood gem will cause a series of notes to play, while interacting with each of the purple orbs will play a single note. I figured the player would be able to deduce that it's a music puzzle after interacting with those objects, since by that point they've learned that most objects in the game are interact-able. I didn't consider deaf players however, so I'll add a read me file with all the puzzle solutions in the next version. Thanks for the feedback Euphoniac!

Umbral Soul

Ah yes, the infamous music puzzle. That's been stumping a lot of people, so I'm cutting it down to four notes for the next version. Here's the solution.

The order of the orbs is shown as follows.

1 2 3 == 4 5 6

Do the following 6 combinations in the following order.

4 3 4 1 4 5
