YEASTER'S PROFILE

Hi! Thank you for peeping at my profile.
I like making modern-themed games. My first game, Onyx, was made in 2006, when I was a senior in high school. So it's pretty ROUGH, but people seem to like it? Total Chaos is my personal favorite, but it has some, erm, issues, too. Mystery Man Zero is coming you guys, I haven't forgotten about it. A full-game will come out even if it takes 10 years. Oh gosh, I hope it doesn't take that long, but you get what I'm saying, right?
Right now, I am also working on A Nightmare in Sunnydale, a horror genre mesh-up fangame, if you will. I also like playing games. Actually, playing RPGM games is legit one of my favorite pastimes. *insert smiley here*
When I can fit it in, I do a little bit of Gatekeeper as well, a sci-fi fantasy about a team of god-lite forces, Gatekeepers, who have to protect the dying Earth from forces they don't even know about.
If thou think they can take it, download some of my stuff!

What happened whilst I was busy sleeping?
Damn time-zones, I miss out on all the drama.
I know, right.
Anyway, good luck to YDS. =)
Strangeluv's Let's Try
Oh my werd, did I misss??? *Too much drama*
Anyway, Strange sounds JUST like my friend from Trinidad. It was weird watching, but a lot of fun. My hat goes off to him for trying Onyx 2. The game is soooooo old and inferior to my later stuff, with regards to the technical-aspect of game making. I was watching it going like, "Oh, noooooooooooooooooooooo! Why did I do that? >.<"
I'm glad he didn't hate it, though (yet). The game was heavily MegaTen inspired, which isn't everyone's cup of tea.
I hope he returns.

Hmmmmm, have you checked the Hubby? You can find it in your menu screen. That's where your teammates are. You should be able to choose your own party members by that point, if I'm not mistaken.
Go Make me a Sandwich: Sexuality in Bayonetta (and other games)
Crimson, you made sense. =P
Basically.
I don't think it's consciousness decision to put the female movement back by 75 years, or to present female characters as nothing more than sex objects. And let's be real, it's not as if there's a shortage of male characters with long white hair and/or muscles like Dwayne Johnson.
Some designs can be OTT (Mortal Kombat), but the same typically applies to male characters. I personally never had an issue with it. It's just a game.

Sex sells, what more can you say? It doesn't bother me so long as it doesn't detract from the believability of the character (in the case of a story driven game) or from how fun the game is (in the case of a game that isn't leaning heavily on character development).
EDIT:
I've never played Bayonetta so I couldn't possibly comment on that game as an example.

Uh? Do you guys listen to music?
What Videogames Are You Playing Right Now?
One of these days, I'm going to muster up the strength to finish The Suffering. I love the game, just haven't found time to play it in a while.
I just proposed to my fiancee using RPGmaker VX. Video included :)
Favorite videogame world.

The Rockstar world... It's such a lush beautiful parody of the real world that you can't help but laugh. Whether it's Crook Life, gang life, cowboys, highschool, running man, or detective; the Rockstar world has become a big, expanded planet. I'm looking forward to the day they tap into foreign locations (London excluded) like Egypt or China or even Hawaii if it needed to stay in America.
edit:
I'd like to note that 90% or more are RPG or Zelda answers. This is kinda sad guys, there are tons of game worlds outside of RPGland..
People have their preferences. =P
