YEASTER'S PROFILE

Hi! Thank you for peeping at my profile.
I like making modern-themed games. My first game, Onyx, was made in 2006, when I was a senior in high school. So it's pretty ROUGH, but people seem to like it? Total Chaos is my personal favorite, but it has some, erm, issues, too. Mystery Man Zero is coming you guys, I haven't forgotten about it. A full-game will come out even if it takes 10 years. Oh gosh, I hope it doesn't take that long, but you get what I'm saying, right?
Right now, I am also working on A Nightmare in Sunnydale, a horror genre mesh-up fangame, if you will. I also like playing games. Actually, playing RPGM games is legit one of my favorite pastimes. *insert smiley here*
When I can fit it in, I do a little bit of Gatekeeper as well, a sci-fi fantasy about a team of god-lite forces, Gatekeepers, who have to protect the dying Earth from forces they don't even know about.
If thou think they can take it, download some of my stuff!

GOOD AND BAD NEWS ABOUT THE 'SUNNYDALE'' DEMO
A Nightmare in Sunnydale
That's a well balanced team. If you use your team properly, you can beat the game with pretty much any party.
Re: Heather and Xena,
Heather learns upgrades while Xena doesn't. However, Xena makes up for it by learning a wide variety of spells and with her link ability, she can cast multiple spells at once. Xena basically fills the "Red Mage" role.

Discouraging save scumming
I'm a save scummer and I dun cay-yer, especially when I'm playing games on an emulator. You think I'm going to play MegaTen I without save scumming (I didn't know there was an actual word for that)? You crazy.
RMN4 is here!
What makes games "fun"?
I'm really easy to please. I draw most, if not all of my enjoyment from an RPG from the characters and plot. As long as the gameplay isn't ridiculously cheap and won't leave you hanging in terms of where to go next, I'll almost always enjoy it.
For action and/or survival-horror games, they just have to look cool and/or be scary.

Turn-Based...dead?
I've been obsessed with real time since Star Ocean 2, and I thought FF12's fighting system was the only fun thing about it, so RIP turn-based systems! ^_^
I kid. About the RIP part. Real time is awesome.

What are you thinking about right now?
I hate when people say that games today aren't good. They're just as good as they've always been. Just different.
Granted, I play like one game a year, but still.

Greatest Games You've Played
I want to say Persona 2 (Innocent Sin and Eternal Punishment combined). Even after 10 years, I'm still learning new stuff about them, or certain themes that didn't make sense to me as a kid are starting to make sense to me now. I have never seen so much depth packed into an RPG. Atlus really did their research.
But the correct answer is probably Ocarina of Time. The game is literally flawless.
