Thanks Galv!

Thanks,

The day and time is used to determine when certain events may take place, since we have a day and night system incorporated into gameplay.

The Quest if for current quest so it is easier to determine your object. Even in the demo we have a lot of side activity which may confuse you. You can mark which quest you would like be on currently.

Univs are the currency.

New Kickstarter 44% funded within first few days!

The kickstarter is for chapter 1

Yeah, we are doing the game in chapters now which greatly reduce the cost. In the video and on the page I explained everything. Our backers wanted us to give it another try so we went with this business model of releasing the game. We focused on our reach and what we would need to get it to a place where we felt comfortable releasing it.

Moving forward with development and a update to the Demo.

Thanks. It just links to the same file in our website so whenever we updated there it gets updated here. Thanks for the info I double checked right after I read your response.

Celestial Tear: Demon's Revenge

Translation compatibility is already in the game and just needs translations. I want to make the videos compatible too so it's something that I already thought about, but still haven't come up with a solution for. In movies, it would just be subtitled in the languages.

As for the crash, yeah a crash like that is random, sometimes even computer specific, but it is definitely fixable.

Celestial Tear: Demon's Revenge

Mithran has a script to help solve that type of error. It is not foolproof though. I'm thinking maybe it is a memory leak somewhere. If it is, Mithran's script should be able to help me figure out what it is. (I'm not really that good at scripting though so it might take me a while to figure it out.)

Celestial Tear: Demon's Revenge

Thank you for trying the game and thank you so much for providing the scripts to the public to use in their games. They have certainly been very helpful in the development process!

I'm sorry to hear that you encountered a crash and especially so soon in the game :(. I haven't seen any crashes like that, so that's going to be hard to track down. I have been working on an update for a while now, so hopefully the new update will fix that crash.

I think I will add in subtitles, but not quite sure how since it is a video file and I have translation in my game. I wouldn't want to have a different movie for every language as that will make the filesize way bigger than it should be. I'll have to figure some way to do it.

The game is installed in (drive letter)/programdata by the way.

Who are the ridders? Plus Demo feedback.

Shayoko, you make me can't wait to release the second part of the demo :P :D

Celestial Tear: Demon's Revenge

You totally found the save error! I'm on to fixing that right now. About the cave passage, I forgot you could go back in there and I only set up passability for the event that happens :P

So, yeah, I have to block it off or put something in there that's cool.

Right now, there are no stores yet since it's only supposed to be a quarter of the intro, but I can place more healing items around to help with that. (I didn't script a store scene yet and the default is not good enough for me + it would also be weird having to buy supplies from his own teammates + you don't get money from these creatures)

I've been looking into ways to make the light surrounding the main character brighter at night so that the darkness won't be that much of an issue. If it is REALLY dark, there is an option in the menu to change brightness of the game. It mainly tones down the darkness of the overall shade caused by the light effects script.

You can sleep in your bed, but me being my forgetful self, I only put it in one of the events by the bed, also not sure if it is in the public version or if it's just a fix/addon that I put in after it was already out :|

Maggie and Quint almost always go first in battle. Now when you are by yourself, that's a different story. I guess at level 4 or 5 (The level I usually end up on by the end) you should be faster than the enemies. I'll check that out and see how I can balance it better, but it is usually randomized who goes first then speed plays a better role from then on.

Swimming glitches should be easy to take care of though. I also noticed another one on that same map where the water is blocked by an invisible wall next to the waterfall.

So once I find out how to fix the save error + all those other things we found, I'll reupload it with all of the fixes.

Good news is I got the cutscene skipper to work out, but the concern now is when it takes the initial picture for the infobook. Since those are generated on the fly, the image comes out black. Should not be hard to add a generic image there for when a cutscene is skipped though.

I also think I fixed the extra party member problem. The update should be much more error free I hope. I just have to test the fixes out before putting it out to the public again.

Celestial Tear: Demon's Revenge

Hi again Shayoko! Really sorry that you ran into bugs at all, but very happy that you are letting us know about them! I honestly thought I fixed that error with the origin element pointing to the glowing yellow gem. Maybe I didn't upload it when I did.

That is really strange though. A variable might not be being checked when setting up your party. I will have to redo it just to make sure everything is working properly once and for all.

The small caves cannot be entered. Those are to help me make enemies pop out of nowhere, but still come from somewhere :D The bigger caves can be entered though.

As for the cutscene, I will look into a cutscene skipper (So far the ones I've tried don't work properly). It was something that I gave up on, but since there is a demand for it, I will definitely look into it and try getting it to work with my setup.

so i had done a bit since i last saved and the game crashed with some error after heading south of that site with the people that told me to go away so i was not in the mood to replay it again for a little while

From that error, it sounds to me like you have an older build. I believe I fixed that (When you pick up the note on the map with the statue on it) Please check to make sure you have version 1.02. If not, that would also probably explain why the element origin still points to glowing yellow gem. I think next update, I'll have a build version visible on the title screen, but right now, the only way to check is to run the setup (Not necessarily complete it).

As for continuing the plot...
The swim part is there to let you know that you CAN swim in water and you don't have to really go down there at all. If you go left of the origin element (down the hill and to the left), you will see rocks to push/pull. There is a save point up there too and to the left of that, you will find your main mission, the wolves' den.

I honestly don't know how that part will play out since you have an extra party member though. I am working on fixing the save error and the bug with the extra team member now. There's also a few secret areas that can be explored too. You can do it now with the party you have or afterwards after you return to camp, but you'll be by yourself (By then you should be leveled enough though :P).

I've never heard of the monster girls game, I'll have to google it. Sounds interesting.
