Metal Gear Solid: Lunacy of Legion
author=OblicThe enemies don't actually have longer sight than yourself. You can see them in any directions before they can see you(although upper/lower part of screen gives smaller margin). They have a range of about 5-6 squares ahead. If you're just careful in your exploration it should work out fine.
Games you want to be made?
Metroid 4 - Gimme the story following Metroid Fusion. I'm getting tired of everything they slice in between.
Mega Man ZX3 - This very much please, with Prometheus and Pandora taking the lead.
Castlevania 1999 - Gimme the events of sealing Dracula that Aria of Sorrow was all based of.

I think these icons look closer to a SNES game than the style of a LoZ NES.
They look nice, but just wondering if they fit with the theme.

Weapon switching "Shooter" ABS
You can teleport events other than the hero with the 'Change event location' command (I think it was named that). And by location memorizing I suppose you send them to a location given by variables that can be defined elsewhere.

Set a conditional branch that checks if the enemy has 0 HP. If so, make so nothing happens if it passes the dead enemy. Another way is to teleport the enemy to an inaccessible location on the map when it's shot down.
No more killing Rabbits and Seagulls.

If this is when you're only in the lake, then it's probably the water mines along with shooting events that absorb performance. If you can access the editor, try removing a few mines and see if anything changes.

I'll agree that the first release didn't go well.
A reassessment would be nice but I'm not forcing anyone here.
