Imaginary audience
My MGS game was obviously aimed at Metal Gear fans. As it is similar in style to A Link to the Past, I was hoping to reel in some Zelda-fans as well.
Encounters Mechanics
Has anyone ever tried the The World Ends With You approach?
The only battles you have to take are scripted, but you'll hardly make it through on that alone. The random battles are totally optional and won't even stand in your way somehow. But they are more or less forced on some occasions anyway.
It's like teasing you with the final boss at the start of the game although you'd be Level. 1.

Mega Man Legends 3 got cancelled, y'all
With this canceled I'm hoping they can get back to the ZX-series which I am somewhat fond of. It is the main storyline after all. I've heard that Legends is obscurely part of it as well somehow but I refuse to accept that.
Too bad it's money that's controlling all this shit, so nothing can be for certain.

The Customer Is Always Right - Perception Of Designer & Player "Responsibilities" In Amateur & Commercial Video Games
A difference between amateur and commercial games is that the latter often has much bigger teams working on it. That's a bigger pool of different opinions to judge things before release and further opinions from the gamer don't weight as much. There's also all the test players, but both sides can have that.

Metal Gear Solid: Lunacy of Legion Review
author=sbesterYou're welcome to give it a try. This one "chronologically" takes place between MGS2 and MGS4. It takes a few things in mind from previous story, but overall it's not that important.
Congrats on the positive changes, Zephyr, sounds like they went a long way. I just finished Metal Gear 1 and 2 with the intention of finally playing through the whole series, I may as well give this one a download as well.
Metal Gear Solid: Lunacy of Legion Review
Thanks for the review! I've been waiting for a new rating of the game since I changed so much about it. I'm glad that the game left a very positive impression despite the numbers of bugs you encountered.
Did you finish the whole game? I hope it didn't get too frustrating that it makes people quit. The stealth-mechanic is hard to perfect and I'm hoping that most haven't turned into a trial and error.

author=Space_MonkeyYour avatar reminds me of this one:

<<< About mine though. This is Hong Meiling. She is a gate keeper for a mansion. But she is quite lazy and not a good gate keeper at that. So when the head maid of the mansion(which has a higher position) finds out she sleeps on the job, she is in big trouble. Also, it's from Touhou.
Your abandoned game ideas?
author=nate906productionsDepends on how you see it.author=Zephyrgood to know i'm not the only one who has extememly bad ideas that seem good when you make them.
The first and fourth ones were pretty decent ideas that had thought behind them.
I'm still writing down ideas and such for that "Lucid Dream" game, but it doesn't seem to move further than that.
The second and third however were some works with less thought so to say.
They didn't go far.
